~love~

what is love?
love is patient.
have you been patient, lately? or have you lost your patience, lost your faith in hoping for something good?
can you wait on God? what is the rush for, anywhay?
love is patient and still kind...
even when i have to wait, i will smile .... i won't be angry at people, at anybody, for taking longer than what i want, or expect.
God works things in mysetrious ways.
i heard a story about 9/11 (twin towers) and there was a (good) report about a man who had been trying to go to work that day (he worked at the towers) and things kept delaying him.. traffic, stop lights...and he didn't make it to work on time, but because of those delays his life was saved.
love (charity) envies not.
love does not look at (it's, his or her) loss, or lack - or make comparisons with what others (seem) to have that (he or she) (seem) to not have.

i personally think gratitude, and thankfullness can completely overcome envy.

love (aka charity) vaunteth not itself (vaunt means 'lift up', 'exalt', make 'high', as in "high and mighty"), and love aka charity is not puffed up....

jesus told us that the ones who "lift themselves up".. will be cast down, and those that "humble themselves", will be lifted up.

to be continued...
