Are You Ripe?

I love this verse. It opposes everything that is evil, and it does prove that there truly is no law against such things.
Perfect!

Sometimes I think about sin. And although I have dealt with sin in my own life, it is always easier to see other people's sins and sometimes gain a greater knowledge of "your own" personal sins and convictions.

During one of these observations of mine -observing other people's sins and foolish ways (I am being facetious here if you simply cannot tell)- is that when I ponder people who love sin, like, lust, for example....I challenge the thought in my mind- like, just because a man is lusting after a woman, does he actually love her? Can he actually love her? (In the way of placing the sexuality into the proper place of marriage...
I'm trying to apply the truth in a way that dissolves the sin... so that people can see (of so that I can see, I guess) the vast difference between Right and Wrong.

Like, another example is, some people are consumed with greed - love and lust for money and material things.
But those material things cannot say anything to you--money can not make you "happy". Dollar amount does not equal joy. You can't buy happiness, or joy, or love, or peace. You could have a ton of gold bricks and stub your toe and have a miserable day because you stubbed your toe... but if you stub your toe and realize that maybe you're going too fast and God is trying to get your attention--- then I think that you will also have the Spirit of Peace inside you - that money can't buy. And stubbing your tow won't make you mad (at least not for long), and you will know that maybe it saved your day!

I am tired of the "world's ways" and trying to please people in lieu of the Glory of God.
It is so easy to fall into the trap of society- or popular belief- but... if we pay attention to what God says, or our hearts to lead us back to Him- He will show us what pleases Him. It's not often the way we would normally choose, but I guarantee, it is always much much better.

Remember theese: Love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness (humbleness), temperance (self-control).
- these things cannot be denied!!!-

I am tired of trying to figure everything to make sense of it, or to be right so I have something good to say to others.. Like, to give advice to people. Most people don't take advice. And when they do, they still do what ever makes sense to themselves anyway.
And, you can't be right anyways. Righteousness is not about being right. It is about God being right, and you being Obedient to God's Truth (His Right Ways). You being right is self-righteousness... because you being right has to do with your own ego. And because, again, you can't be right- you can only do (or hope to do ) what is Right - in God's sight- by what He tells you is right - according to His Word. (The Holy Bible)
So...I yeah, I am tired of trying to figure out about life why this does or doesn't happen the way I want, and why an why not. I am tired of worrying about things I can't change. And I am tired of letting other people's emotions, control my own.
Don't react- respond.
Even if it hurts, I want to feel it- I pray to- to get to the other side of it all.
In a better place.

Obedience is you proving God right.
Disobedience is sin. Sin separates us from God.
self-righteousness is pride and contempt- wickedness before the eyes of God.

I am still here... still thinking, still praying... still believing. I recently found a phrase I wish I had heard before! It quotes '' The challenges in life are supposed to make us better, not bitter~'' I really really liked that!
Sometimes, wait, Most times things don't go my way, I get angry and disappointed and unhappy and straight up bitter--and to God!
I think, ''it's not fair!!'' --and wonder why I deserve it, or why won't God change it!!??
I realize now that I have to accept that there are things I cannot control. And there are some things I may never understand.
BUT, the Bible says too, that we are not supposed to lean unto our own understanding, but to TRUST the LORD with ALL our heart.
That is hard to do when it hurts!!!
But I found that there is freedom in *accepting* God's will and the path He takes me on, no matter how many twists and turns there may be.
*Acceptance* of things has always been a stumbling block or stronghold for me.
I have been going through situations that force me to *accept* what is. and it is helping me grow. It is helping me learn to ''Let go and Let God.''
Which is a good thing!!

SO... as long as God's in control, everything will work out for the best.

I haven't spent anytime here at all lately and I do miss my writing time and devotions, and I've been extremely busy. But I am going to commit to making a comeback!!
Love you all and keep my in your prayers and you all are in mine!

Some say Love is an action verb... Some say love is a feeling...Some say love is an emotion, or an idea.... Some say love is pain and hurt.
Some think they love when they say I love you... Some think love can not be seen.... Some think love can never be found... Some think love is inside of everything.
Some feel love when they smile... you can see it in their eyes... some feel love when they get a hug or a kiss.... it makes them warm and happy inside.... some feel love when they see the sunlight..... or a rainbow...... some feel love when they hear a special song.
Some think love is better to recieve than to give, some think otherwise.... and give.
I think love is a choice we make....
is it easy? Not always... sometimes its delightful..... love is more than just love to me... love is respect, and love is power, and love is boldness, and love is truth.
Love is a choice in the face of anything less than itself.

Love never fears.... Love never fails.... love never fades away, it cannot be quenched.... it doesn't die...
Love lives and is alive.... love is a choice for life.
You cannot unlove somebody....you might stop loving at one point or another, but love is love is love and it exists....
The Bible says God is love..... so love then, is infinite... love is powerful, passionate, thoughtful, intelligent. Love is real and true and undeniable, and pure. Love is holy and precious and self-sacrificing and sometimes incomprehensible.
But that is what God is sometimes..... and love is always Good, as God is always good!

Mysteries of Love

What is Love?
How do you know if someone really loves you... or if you really and truly love someone?
What about all this.... instead of blaming the other person, see the fault or problem (and ultimately solution) in yourself...
How do you trust God when you don't know exactly what He will do?
It comes down to trusting His judgement.
Even when what happens doesn't always make sense to mortal minds.
But sometimes, if you think about it hard enough, it can make sense.
For example, I have a friend who spent a very long time incarcerated, and this person's parents obviously had bad feelings about it, when I talked to them about the incarceration.
But i mentioned, that maybe, just maybe, being imprisoned spared that person from other worse things.. Who knows, maybe it saved their life.
I learn more about myself everything I go through.
I realized that - i get really caught up in things-ideals, or "dreams" I guess. I have found myself believe things that weren't necessarily "real" in the situation.
Meaning, I have been in relationships that I thought were more than what they really were.
I have learned, too, that I can even have conversations with people, thinking that they fully understand me and are in he same mental perception as me, but then learned they were not.
Or maybe it was me that wasn't understanding them, or perceiving the same as they were.
these things make life hard for me, sometimes.
Because if I had it my way, I would always get what I really want, I would always be truly happy, contented and satisfied.
I think my biggest issue, is wanting "things" --not being happy or satisfied just to have my life, and freedom, and Salvation in Hand.
People will let you down, material things will grow old and become nothing...
I keep asking God to let me be how I used to be... before I was hurt by man. I was innocent, and I loved people without fear and with out judging them and without hatred.
I want to be that person again...
I don't want to be hurt or scared or angry or mean anymore.
I just want : LOVE.

I guess its easier to hate, than to bear the pain of loving someone when they hurt you.
That is why God teaches us to forgive.
People are so egotistical and humans are so naturally emotional, it us sometimes hard to know how to do what's right.
As simple as it's sounds, do what Jesus says, and in the end, everything will work out All Right.
It's a promise.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are the called according to His purpose.

I guess it's foolish and self righteous of me to feel how I feel about my situation right now.
I am a woman redeemed by God. Before I "met" Jesus and asked him to wash away my sins, I was very much laden with sin, and evil and the filth of the world.
Even after I repented and was clean, I had a few personal relationship based strongholds that lead me away from the Cross.
I never really wanted to be "away" for God, and he always accepted me and loved me still when I came humbly and ashamedly back to him.

Now I am in a situation where I am forced to be put in my own place, so to say.
I am on the other side of the plate. I am not God, but I feel like I am in the place of knowing the Lord and trying to or wanting to live Right, and being opposed to my face by a significant other.
Even in the name of Jesus.

It frustrates me
It angers me
I want to go and leave
I'm torn because I believe God has told me to wait and stay and watch to see what He will do, but my disappointment and anger just grows, as I hope day in and day out, only to get let down again.
It has caused me to question my faith. It has caused me to question myself,... "was I wrong in what I believed of you LORD?"

It has made me so angry inside, that I almost would rather just walk away than try to wait it out and see if God will do a good thing ( that He said - I believe- He would do. )

I don't know how to get over this.
I just don't know what to do.

So much in life is what we make of it, and I am determined to make my life Great. Why settle for less when you can have the best?! Anytime people are inhibited or held back from living their dreams, it's usually because of their own undealt with shortcomings, attitude problems and unacknowledged sin. Therefore, I say to you and everyone reading, Your life is your own, that you Are responsible and that you are the only one who can choose on which path you will go!

I wish I had something to write about here that was loaded with emotion and self-actualization and all that jazz but lately all I had been dealing with was frustration, so it feels good to not have to come on here to vent :) :) :)

But, nonetheless I feel like there's not much to say, but I will say this, I have been thinking real hard and for a very long time about creating some sort of poetry artwork for my somewhat large collection of poetry writing. I have had a few different ideas but I think the easiest is to create (paint) some frames and write them up and sell them. I had wanted to find someone (possibly) to illustrate or create colorful backgrounds for some of the poems, but I haven't found any willing body. But if you are interested in either getting a framed and hand written poem by me, or even if you might be interested in designing beautiful backgrounds or if you have any other ideas you would like to share with me, send me an email @ innocenceangel56@yahoo.com

So I want to say, that after writing my last post (tonight), I decided to read some of the Word and I opened my Bible to Hebrews the end of chapter 6, and it was really encouraging... to not lose faith or hope, and it reminded me that God IS always faithful and will keep the promises he made me.
In my life I have figured out that I tend to retain feelings and thoughts and so writing became an outlet for me to get free. SO, I don't like to post such negative things all the time (referring to the last post) but to be honest, life has it's ups and downs. God is in them all... I feel better now though. Hopeful... Because I know that my God is Faithful. And True.

Challenging Faith or Challenging Myself?

My life as been so perfectly imperfect, sometimes I ask if it will ever be ... what I hope or desire or expect or want it to be. Without trying to sound pathetic, I must admit, at least 50% of the time I think, I ponder my troubles that just never seem to leave me. I try to "forgive" the people who have hurt me, but they continue to do so, or I never find consolation with their resolve and I feel like I'm left hanging... with such lack... with no one to fill their place.
And then, I have tried, like so many people I have met at churches and things say, Jesus will fill that empty place.
I pray, I talk to Him... but... I still feel empty.

I feel like there is something eternally wrong with me, and no matter what I do or say, or try, it is never Right (yeah, with a capital R ).
I try to praise Him (and in my heart I do and I AM grateful and thankful), but sometimes it feels so fake... I mean, you can't DENY your pain when you praise Him... I guess that is what I am trying to find out, or ... accept. God is good.. but, my life may not always be. I have things, but oftentimes, my heart aches. My soul.... I feel misunderstood... I feel like no one even cares to Try to understand.
I feel alone.
Most times being alone doesn't bother me.... but... I guess certain situations that I expect or desire to be... more unified, at failure, make me feel, solitary.
So small in such a big world..
And I see so much of what other people, other happy people have... and I question why can't my life be so?
Why can't I have what every healthy whole normal person wants in life?
Why is my life vexed with this vexation?
Is it me, or is it God?
Am I wrong for doing what I can? I ask Him for help, for guidance...for answers...
I guess I am so blind? I hate my own lack of humility. But how can a person try to be humble?
Who am I, or who do I think I am? that I am not. Who I want to be......
God help me!

O, Heavenly City~

It is interesting how, if you think about words and where they originated from, you can gain a deeper knowledge of what they truly mean. You can also look at a word and, through prayer, gain a more spiritual knowledge about them too.

Take for instance, the word "lust". If you change the letters around, you can create the word "slut" out of it.
And take the word "hatred". Hat-red. It makes me think of someone being "hot-headed"... angry hateful and mean all the time.

Or take the word "love". In England they write of like "ov", and if you take they letters LOVE, it can be percieved like Love = Lord's Love ov everyone.

But I was watching a show a week ago, a 48 hours mystery about some scandal that happened in California. (Another one of those words....)
But the scandal happened in Los Angeles- The City of Angels.

The Holy Spirit quickened me and I saw Lost Angels.
People so often glorify celebrities and movie stars and musicians they see on tv and movies and on the radio, that they lose sight of God, and even thier own life sometimes.

thw World has lead so many people to believe that what is on tv is the truth, or the way things are supposed to be. But in most cases, it is not, and in most cases, the stories and songs are made up. and all the pretty girls have been made up with make-up, and the ones on the magazines have been made up and also photo-shop edited to appear beyond perfect physically. and we don't see any emotions except pleasure, joy and the portrayal of a lavish life.

So many americans believe what they see.
and so they are deceived.

The Bible speaks of faith as being the evidence of things NOT seen... things of God, not even dreamed or imaginged, but better than what we could ever even THINK to ask of or expect of Him.

So- I think that is why the Lord showed me the City in California as being like "Lost angels"
because they lead people into a world of tangible temporary gratifications... while leaving the cross unremembered.

And isn't it funny how all it took was a "t" to bring this revelation to my heart?

We need to stop looking to the world and imitating the world to try and fit in and be like it (the world), and start looking wothin, where God is, and letting Him be glorified in us, and let Him express Who He Is, in us, as we were created for His Purpose, and in His Image.

The Sky is Falling

So it is, by human world calender, the year of 2011. And on New Year Eve at 12 am birds - tons of birds dead- fell from the sky in Arkansas, fish have washed up dead in massive number, and these things have happened across the globe in a minor amount. The scientists nor psychologists have not figured out what it means... and no one else seems to know what is up... so why don't we inquire of the LORD?

Maybe that is the First question HE wants to ask US. Why don't we inquire of HIS infinite Wisdom and Perfect Counsel more? Why are we always turning inward to our own ways and devices, and forsaking His laws, precepts and ways? ~~~~~~~~~
The LORD thy God's ways are Perfect, and His instruction leads to life.

I think there is symbolism in what He has done. I don't think that is was a toxic odor, or a nuclear chemical or some freak accident that these animals have died in massive amounts in various places. I believe God is trying to tell us something(s).

Jesus Christ used birds and fish in quite a few of His messages, according to the Gospels. And if you take the time to read what He has said, you will see it evident that He is telling us that God the Father loves us His people.
He gives ample room for anyone and everyone to :
1 Love Him
2 Live for Him, in relationship with Him
3 Repent of sin therefore leading to
4 Turn from the death of wickedness and sin to a life of forgiveness and mercy and grace

But Do we do it???

This is what you have to ask yourself for your own life. Each person is held accountable TO JESUS CHRIST on that Great and Mighty Day!

Jesus said that a bird will not fall from the sky without God (Our Heavenly Father ) knowing it... how much more does He care about us then... we are only made in His Image and likeness. Why do we turn to things, people and ourselves when we should turn to the Master Copy so to say, for advice, guidance, counsel... comfort. TRUTH.

The WORD also says, If you ask your own earthly father for a fish, will he give you a serpent? NO!
Then how much more will your Heavenly Father give you the things you ask of from Him???

God is SOOO GOOOD!

What has taken us His people away from the Glory and truth and pleasures of LIFE that God Himself has ordained for us??
What about TV. What about traffic .... and cars... and hairstyles.... and outfits... and being better than so and so.... or being angry at so and so.... or looking down on people when you should be helping them... or having a million dollars.... or having every material thing you ever wanted.... or having the next i application invented every 10 seconds of the day???
Comeon people!!!!!!

Who has a right to complain about life or thier own life when they (you?) have the power OVER your own life Over your own choices OVER your own time OVER your own actions.
Yet people want to complain all the time!

When is the last time you went without a bed to sleep on???

When is the last time you were not able to have dinner because you couldn't afford it???

When is the last time you couldn't buy a pair of shoes for your precious feet? (And I am not being sarcastic here )...

Yet people, and especially in America IN MY OWN OPINION, have seemed to have LOST the VALUE of APPRECIATION of things.
And I am saying MORE than the value of "things". But hard work. Or generosity. Or Kindness. Or time. Purity. Honor. Trust. Truthfulness.

Just to name a few off the top of my head.

Yet people want More More More.
What is there to be had if you can't even enjoy what you already do have???

LOOK AT JOB.
JOB THE BOOK IN THE BIBLE.

OR GO FOR A HIKE. WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU HAD TO TAKE THE BUS OR WALK TO THE STORE OR TO WORK BECAUSE YOU HAD NO GAS OR NO CAR OR NO BODY TO PICK YOU UP?

I AM JUST TRYING TO SHOW YOU WHAT IS REALLY REAL AND VALUABLE IN THIS LIFE, AND NOT TO BE CAUGHT UP IN THE WORLD AND IT'S WAYS THEREOF.

BE HONEST WITH YOURSELVES AND WITH EACH OTHER. WRITE IN YOUR JOURNAL. GO FOR A LOOONG WALK SOMEWHERE. GO SOMEWHERE BY YOURSELF ....BUY SOMEBODY SOMETHING WHO DOESN'T EXPECT IT... OR PAY FOR THE PERSON BEHIND YOU'S SANDWHICH AT THE STORE JUST FOR THE SAKE OF IT.
GOD CALLS US TO BE A LIGHT IN A DARK WORLD. HE CALLS US TO LOVE- NOT HATE. HE ASKS US TO - NO - HE COMMANDS US TO PUT HIM FIRST, NOTHING BEFORE HIM- TO HONOR HIM MORE THAN ANYTHING AND ANYONE. EVEN OURSELVES, AND ALL THOSE "THINGS" WE WANT.

THE ONLY THING THAT CAN AND EVER WILL FILL THAT VORACIOUS HUMAN APPETITE FOR "SOMETHING" IS GOD AND HIS DIVINE AND PERFECT LOVE. IF YOU HAVE THAT CRAVING FOR "SOMETHING" LIKE THERE IS SOMETHING MISSING FROM YOU OR YOUR LIFE, IT IS LOVE. AND IF YOU KNOW WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS, THEN YOU KNOW THAT GOD IS LOVE.

NOTHING ELSE WILL EVER TRULY SATISFY YOU MORE THAN BEING IN A LOVING RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THE FATHER AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST! AMEN!

That sometimes leads to misunderstandings, expectations, and impositions...
People are fragile creatures. And when they know this, they sometimes try to build a shell to protect themselves or hide behind.
When you're in a relationship... don't forget the other person.
Don't forget to pray for them; for their soul, for their needs, their feelings and desires.
And learn to communicate -with- them, in their own language.... in a way that they will understand how much you love them and do care.

Loving till it Hurts

There is a verse in the Holy Bible that says a man of integrity will be faithful to his own hurt.
That means no matter how painful it might be to keep his word, he keeps it.
For instance, say you work at a bank, have bills backed up so far beyond reason that you're barely able to keep food on the table (this is kindof an extreme scenerio here), and, say, it would be real easy for you to slip some of the money that passed through your hands each day into your own pocket. Say you went home every night after working at the bank job counting thousands if not a million dollars a day, and dreamed of how nice and easy it would be to take that money and pay your bills off without anyone noticing, maybe even buy a new corvette or something... but you don't steal the money, and it hurts. And the reason you don't steal it (or "take" it) is because when you took that job, you gave your confidentiality, your commitment and your word to your employer that you were are and will be a faithful employee. A person of integrity. Honest. Good. Pure. Even when you're tempted not to be.

I am realizing that I am super sensitive to people sometimes. And I think we all can be, in our own given situations. But I also realized, that, when I am feeling, and being - key word here -(be-ing)- supersensitive, it has to do with what I want or expect the other person to behave like.

Even when I think I am "being the better person", love is not about being better than anyone else. That is still selfish! Selfcentered, vain, egotistical! Rediculous!
Real love, loves until it hurts, even when it hurts.... it does not stop loving just because of a feeling of pain.
Think about this, Proverbs says, wounds from a friend are faithful.......but the kisses from an enemy are deceitful.
think about that.
there is so much truth there to be discovered, if we really want to find it.
Love leads to understanding. Understanding leads to knowledge. Knowledge to wisdom, wisdom to life.... justice and mercy.

The Word of God is so good. Line upon line, precept upon precept. It remains pure, no matter what.

I was falling asleep last night in bed and as I was drifting off I was thinking about typing a message up. And in my dream I was writing about Truth and love and I could hear the words and what I wanted to say so clearly last night, but I was asleep and now it is today and sorry to say I have forgotten what it is I so eagerly wanted to type here today.

So, with that I want to let you all know that I will be posting more messages soon and I will write them down as soon as I receive them into my brains!

There is a popular worship song by Israel Houghton and in it the words go like this, "What does it mean to be saved, is it more than just a prayer to pray? More than just a Way to heaven? ... What does it mean to be his, to be formed in His likeness, to know that we have a purpose..."

The idea behind the words to this song probably has different meanings to different people, and the idea that it makes me think of is one of forgiveness. There are so many people saved, unsaved churched, and unchurched that all have different understandings of the Cross. But one thing I have learned of the Cross is Forgiveness. I have learned how to be forgiven - and I have learned what forgiveness really means.
The bible says that "anyone that calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved". So if you are someone that has called on the name of Jesus for Salvation and you believe with all your heart that He is Lord and Saviour, then you are saved.
There is so much more, though, that comes AFTER you say the name of Jesus.
Some people think asking for Salvation is the end.... I thought that. But it is only the beginning.
Forgiveness of sin is more than just asking to be forgiven, or in other words, asking not to be punished for doing wrong.
See, when you recognize sin in your life, and acknowledge it before the Lord, that is being aware.
See, He already forgave you when He hung on the Cross 2,000 years ago. In a way, you almost don't even have to ask... but the kicker is this... Since you ARE already forgiven... do you continue to sin? Do you still choose to do what is wrong in god's sight?

the Bible says that the wicked thinks that no one sees them...maybe not in the flesh (actually seeing them commit a sinful act or illegal deed), but the truth and core of the matter is... are you doing what is Right or what is Wrong? And there IS a difference.

Everyday is filled with choices, from the clothes you put on your back to the attidue you choose to have to the music you listen to to the choice of what you fill your mouth with (food and drink).
Everything is a choice.
The point being gotten and the question being asked is this:
Are you doing the Lord's Will for your life?

How do you know?
(You back it up with the Word of God... prayer... etc.)

The first two commandments, "Put nothing before the Lord thy God and love thy neighbor as thyself."

Where Faith Meets Life

Life is what we make it, so some say. And life is what you get, some others might say. But whatever you say, life is life, and to those that live, it is worth living for.
"To live is Christ, to die is gain", said Apostle Paul.
Yet sin is death, and Righteousness is the Way of life everlasting... so, I guess it comes down to your own personal understanding-perception- what you make your life about.

I recently watched the movie Shawshank Redemption. It is a favorite of mine, and there is a point where the main character says,
"Get busy livin', or get busy dyin'" in regard to a prisoner that had been let free, and didn't know how to live a free life.
And Christianity is like that. a prisoner set free.
Set free from sin.
But how many people set free from the chains of wickedness sin and unrighteousness have gone back into bondage because they didn't know how to live free?

I know it happens to people, but it doesn't have to.
People can learn to be free, without feeling weird.
And that is the trap of sin- people get comfortable with thier chains and don't know how to feel without them.
But I guess they need to realize that the chains are weighing them down. Holding them back.. making it harder for them to get to where they need to be in God.. or to "the prize" if you will.
People have needs. Not just physical, not only monetary, not just food for thier tummies. People have real emotional heartfelt needs to be loved, cherished, respected, and appreciated.
An observation would be that when people's emotional or mental or spiritual needs aren't met, they meet the need with something less than Love.

Love conquers all, and Love is the answer to the need. And I can't sit here and define it or say it's real easy to do, because it is and it isn't. But Love is the answer and part of loving is learning how to love, and live together in unity.

Life is beautiful, and I think love is what makes it so.

I have left off to write or post any update on i angel for a while, not only for a lack of what to write, but because I have been busy being blessed by the LORD!
All my life one thing that I have always desired and prayed for and asked the LORD for has been a holy relationship with a godly man, in marriage.
I had tried to force relationships before, cried and worshipped and waited and quit waiting and finally the LORD began preparing my heart ( I knew He was up to Something with the things He was revealing to my heart a bit before it began happening).
Now I have met the man that I desire to spend the rest of my life with, and how can I describe the Word to define the joy, pure love and sheer pleasure of being with the man God chose me for!?!? GLORIOUS!

I never thought just being around someone could be so mutually fun, enjoyable, loving, exciting, challenging and interesting all at the same time, and it is all those things~
I have really been wanting to come to my blog pot and write a good report and I kept delaying just because I hadn't made time to, but here it is. And my main goal is to tell everyone reading this, to never give up on what God promises you.
It may take a very long time to get to where He takes you, but if you keep Faith, and continue to believe and not give in or give up or sell out or settle for less, He will Keep His Promise. And they ARE better than we expect!!!

Thank You Father, for Being SO Good to us, Your Children!

Loving Others as Yourself

For work I do hair; I work one one one with people- touching them, talking to them and getting pretty upclose and personal, at least in ther face.
I think about people, in general, like, I guess you can say in almost a psychological way, but with the love of Christ- because we people are so complex and unique that we can only be truly seen through the eyes of God through Christ.
Well, yesterday at work I was a little busy. I was working on some boy's hair and a lady came in and askd how long for a haircut and I told her about ten minutes.
I was done and went to get the lady and do her hair cut, and it turned out to be a bit difficult than I expected. The lady had very short hair and wanted more and more taken off and when I was done she began complaining and it winds up she didn't pay and caused a bit of a scene - and besides all of this (because these kinds of things are somewhat "expected SOMETIMES" considering working with the public) the point I want to make here is I learned something from the lady.
For one she was angery. She seemed to have a major attitude problem and without going into all kinds of detail what I learned is pretty deep-

and it's about people loving others as themselves- and how some people who are hateful towards others, really have hatred indside for themselves.
When the lady had left the salon I had alreay went in the back and was praying because the lady was really argumentative- and I did not want to lose my job over her much less be in an argument or in a bad mood so I went away and prayed and I realized that her anger and bad attitude had nothing to do with ME- but she has a problem.
Some people have problems, and that is sometimes a part of life. But when people don't deal with thier problems - and deal with them the Right way, then they only get worse, even if they are hidden or covered up or disguised for a while- even a long while.
So, as I was praying I was like, wow, she was really hateful to me Lord, and He showed me that her anger and hurt and hatefulness was because she felt that way about herself inside, that that is the only way she knows how to express herself. No body has ever corrected her... or loved her right. Her parents nor friends. Because Love changes people for good- and if she had been loved she would love, because that is how love works.
And I think from seeing her in my chair for just a few minutes, that it looked like she had made some mistakes in life and maybe she regretted the choices she made and then hated herself for it- or maybe her parents or some other person was unforgiving toward her and maybe she depended on those peoples love who took away thier love when she made a bad choise- I mean it does happen.
Some people are biased in their love and if you make a mistake they might take away thier love- and this is the Ultimate Reason we need Jesus- because sometimes we do make mistakes but we if we have the LORD ~
If we have the LORD we for one try not to make such bad mistakes.
From the time I recieved Christ I changes my desicion making style. I have not always chosen the perfect choice, but I have learned and am still putting into practice seeking HIS WILL in my choices, and I learn that sometimes His Will is very different than what I Want. But it is also much much better.

I could go on and on today but the point I want to make is that other people's attitudes have much more to do with themselves than with who they are directed at. Love is unifying, where as hate is isolating.
Love is healing, hate is hurting.
Love accepts, hate rejects.
Love purifies, hate corrupts.
Sorry to be so gory but its true... and this is why we need to deal truthfully with ourselves and confront people in truth in love- especially the ones who need it most.
Tell the truth in love.
It seems challenging, but it is very simple.
Let Love Have It's Way~

There is something I have pondered that troubles me every time I consider… How the children of God that say they believe, never see the fruits of God’s Power in their lives.

Healings. Miracles. True Salvation. Deliverance. Spiritual Knowledge. Wisdom. Life Changes. Holy Promises Fulfilled.
Why ?
Why don’t people- especially “those of the household of faith” – ever see God’s “promises” come to life in their lives?

Doubt. Unbelief. Mistrust. Fear. Impatience.

These are a few reasons people do not see God’s fulfillment of His Truth in their lives~
But we need to ponder these reasons and ask, why DO people DOUBT God? Or WHY do people not believe Him and His Word in their lives? Or why do they think in fear, that they are less worthy than another person to have what God has promised to “ALL who believe”? And for people who don’t trust the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, WHO then can they trust? For we all know that the “trust” of “man” is futile.
Where then is faith? It comes from a Knowledge of WHO GOD Really is.

God… The “God of our Fathers”.. the God of Jesus Christ… And David the King of Israel, and Isaiah the prophet, and Elijah and Elisha the miracle workers… and Esther the queen who saved a nation and Moses who lead the Israelites out of egypt, is that same yesterday, today and forever~ It is the same God that has always been~ And if we really want to have what God has promised through the Word of His Son Jesus Christ, the first and foremost we have todo is DARE to Believe.
I say Dare because it takes COURAGE to STEP OUT IN FAITH, it takes momentum, courage, passion, faith with reckless abandon~ to have the good things that God has for His Children! Why? Because there is a world out there full of thives imposters and liars that don't want (God's People) to have what (HE) wants (us) to have, because they don't have it. Have you ever heard that saying "Misery loves company"? And we see it all around, envy, lust, competitavteness...such things will never bring true peace or glory~ Only recieveing the Blessing from GOD, for the Bible says, "every good and perfect gift comes doen from the Father of Lights.."
(God is no respector of persons) he doesn’t compare us with each other… he compares us by our selves… meaning… He doesn’t say, oh, Sally is better than Trina, because of this this and that. NO. He has placed within each individual person a unique purpose, design and value that only HE can create and fulfill– and His value is based in His Word, and He judges according to HIS standards for us, not other’s people’s, and certainly not against other people’s, or their’s against us.

So we have to decide… what do we (each individually) expect and or desire from life, from the LORD?
What is our purpose for being here? What has God placed in Your’s and my hearts, and you and God know…
The LORD said to me that many of the desires that I have in my heart are desires that HE has FOR ME. God is not some God that makes people and ignores us. NO! He is a Loving, intimate, attentive, caring, compassionate Father.
That is what He created us for.
So we must dare to believe. For Himself. He Delights in us... He loves it when we come to Him for help, or for answers, or for anything we need, because in us is HIS Glory, and in Him we are fulfilled and gratifyed and blessed better than any other way possible. Because GOD IS GOOD!!!

One thing besides the list that I wrote earlier also keeps the LORD from fulfilling His Promises in our lives, and that one thing (which ALL the others fall into) is SIN.

Unbelief is sin, fear can be classified as sin, doubt is certainly sin, mistrust is sin( 1 corinthians 13 the love chapter claims that love always trusts) so if we do not trust we are not living in love therefore it is sin.
So, I would like now, to encourage your faith.

I want to use a few examples from the Word, to open your minds, hearts and spirits to the Power of The Holy Ghost; And to realize and discover what kindof God we really serve.
I hope you all can catch all this, and may the Holy Spirit give understanding as He so pleases.

Let’s consider the Gospel, it means “Good News” in the original text… some of the things that have really made me question MY faith and say, well, if God can do that, then…what can't HE do??!!???!
Are for example, when Jesus awoke Lazarus from death. In John chapter 11. The Lord Jesus Christ (not only was resurrected by God Himself) but rose a man from the dead. The Bible says that Lazarus “stank” as dead, and if you read the gospel carefully, you will read that they had to also take the grave clothes off him.
You know what I really want to say?? Why Can’t God be goodto us? He is good! So Why do people not believe in Him like they say they do? Because they really don’t believe.
God is good all of the time. Anything that we perceive as wrong or evil from God, is not really from God but is from the devil. And the fact that we humans “believe” that something evil would come from God is a LIE from the Devil, whose name means “Deceiver”. Does that make sense now? He will try to reduce your faith in God by putting bad things in your life or causeing problems to the point thta you think God is against you, but in reality it is one of Satan's main tactics of "DECIEIVING" you (into fearing God, distrustung God, giving up on God, not believeing in God).
We have to KNOW who our enemy is in order to be able to fight and destroy him.
His name is also “Accuser”,
“Accuser of the Brethren”,
“Liar”,
“Adversary”,
“Enemy” ,
“Imposter”, - just to show you who the devil really is.

I just want to challenge your all’s faith, because I can sit here and list a bunch of faithful things that the LORD has done, (in the Bible) but in my perception that would be like rewriting the Whole Bible here… so I just want to challenge your faith, and ask you,
“Why can’t God do something awesome in your life?"

And

“Where is Your faith?”

JESUS said that if we have faith as a grain of a mustard seed, that we can say to a mountain to move and it will obey us, and that we can say for anything to happen and it will.
What is a mustard seed, and what does it look like?
What mountains do you want to move out of your way~ into the depths of the sea?

All you have to do is simply believe.

What is oppression?
Opression is judgement of another person to the point of ruling or controlling them by means of words/phrases of disbelief and or condemnation.
Let me reiterate... I can use myself as a prime example.
After I got saved when I was about 20, I turned my whole life around. I had many belongings from my former life ... that of partying, drugs, ungodly music, pictures of me and my friends using drugs (like, my whole photo collection basically), my whole wardrobe, Everything!
I threw it all away!
All I had left was a long black skirt, a pair of pants, and two or three tops to wear. Late I started rebuilding my wardrobe, but I literally threw it all away. Probably a 500 cdand tape collection. Pictures, some of which I later regretted tossing out...
I cleaned house.

Jesus helped me.

After that my family thought I was not right. They thougt I was crazy for changing so radically.
and it was a Radical Change.
It was a Big change, in fact it was straightly a "Life Change"!

They started thinking there was something wrong with me for acting in such ways... where as I had an after thought a couple of years down the road... "How could they think I'm not right now, yet all the time I was younger I was off the chain crazy wild???" Hmm.... the Bible says that in the later days that "men will call what is good bad and what is bad good."

Some where people have it backwards.

and then... the people in my life started telling me I was crazy... started telling me I was wrong.. started telling me this and that and the neighbors too!
Now, I have forgiven my family, please understand- I understand that they had no idea what on earth I was going through and dealing with....
But I have learned that what we say to people matters. And what we say to people can sometimes make or break them.
And what we say to others about people (which is gossip, by-the-way) can also have effects on thier reputation- how other people see and judge them.
Let's not be ignorant here people... It can be difficult to not judge people sometimes.
and why??
People are judges by thier looks, or thier finacial status, or thier religioun, or thier education.

But if you look pastthose outward things, skin, money, habits, knowledge... they are still human just like you and me.
Maybe they are different- we all are. Jesus teaches us first of all not to judge, but He also says that we shall judge people by thier fruits.
Whether they be good or bad.

Now then. What fruit are we supposed to be looking for?
What is this fruit we should find???
Ok, I will remind you :)

The fruits of the Spirit are as follows:
Love
Joy
Peace
Patience
Kindness
Gentleness
Goodness
Faith
Meekiness
Temperance aka self-control
Righteousness
Truth
(Honesty)

Against such their is NO LAW!

I discovered within myself on my Christian walk thus far.. on the issue of fear.. or faith vs. fear, is that I must have to be pure, in order not to fear.
Like, if I am dealing with fear of some sort, I have to know within my own heart where I stand, and then stand.
I have also learned this, because to be honest I have had sex outside of marriage (Lord Knows)
and I have learned what I think so many people maybe don't think about?? or practice or see with thier spiritual eyes, is that, just because (I) like or "love" somebody, doesn't mean I have to have sex with them.
Not even if I want to :)
Simple as that.

I don't understand why people become so jealous, lustful, envious, etc.. the Bible says that men lust to envy... meaning, they love to look at what other people have and get jealous / envious of what someone else has and want it for themselves. Maybe its sex or lust related, maybe its material, or monetary..... but the only thing that will EVER bring your Human earthly soul the kind of satisfaction a soul desires and longs for comes From GOD ALMIGHTY.
That is the Truth.

Some people think Money can answer everything, it can't... Solomon may think so.... but it can't love you. In fact.. quit trying to get love and just love! Love the LORD, love yourself, love somebody that needs it!
'Cause we all do!!! We all need love, every single on of us.

God is Love

Everybody needs God.

God is LOVE~
Everybody IS Loved... so let us love each other. And quit being so stinkin' envious..
We're supposed to love like Jesus Loves US... Love always trusts... Love always believes the best about someone (opposite of oppressing someone)

which brings us back to the beginning of what I started this with.

So instead of passing judgement on your neighbors, Love them.

Love them and let them Be!

The Little Things...

Have you ever heard the song by BUSH, "LITTLE THINGS" ? The singer in that song, says over and over "It's the little things that kill". And to connect this to the Word of God in the Bible, there's also verses in Song of Solomon that say, "it's the little foxes that destroy the vines " (with the grapes...)
And so.. it seems ...
But sometimes the little thngs can keep a dream alive. And sometimes it's the little things that make a day go great. And make a happy life.
Think about it... little things.... like the cashier at the store having the two extra pennies you need to have exact change for your purchase. Or, the person in traffic letting you in.... or a smile from a stranger.. (who might be an angel, you never know ;) !
Sometimes the little things can be a little deeper, or if we pray for spiritual revelation, a little more spiritual.
I will give you an example.
I was at Baskin Robbins two days ago, and I was searching the menu trying to decide what to get, and then finally I was like, I will just get ice cream. So I looked at all the different flavors, and the tub of my favourite (mint chocolate chip) was just about empty... just a few chuncky scoops around the bottom of the barrel.
ButI decided to get it anyway (hoping for no freezer burn!)
I have talked to the server there a few times before, and I half-jokingly said, "Just try to fit the rest (of what's in the barrel) into the cup!"
And he looked at the ice cream, looked at the cup and then looked at me.
I laughed and said, ok, just get as much in there as you can, then!
So, he scooped a scoop, and showed it to me, and I said, put a little more in there~ Because there was still room.. he almost hesitated, but I told him, "Give and it shall be given unto you"..
And that is was Jesus said, and it hold true. *~Luke 6:36-38~*
So then when it dawned on him he was going to really try to put the whole rest of the bucket of ice cream into the cup (lol!) but I told him it was enough :)
I like inspiring people to do Jesus' Words. Because they ARE true, and they are GOOD.
And see, the little things can make a good difference too... We need to meditate on the things that are "true, noble, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy"~! ~*Phil 4*~
I think we'll all be happier and more gratfeul and fulfilled, what about you ?

God is love.
Why? Why do people hate Jesus?
When He came here – to show us His perfect love?

Why don’t people acknowledge, accept, admit the pain they feel – when they sin- when they hurt the God of all creation – that is inside of them?
God is real.
And HE wants you to know that HE loves you-
This is not embarrassing – love is not embarrassing- love is truth – love is power-love is life.

Use your Brain! And your heart... and your soul.. and your strength!

I get a "daily motivation" each weekday from A New Thing Ministries, and this morning devotion is about our thought life.
We as Believers should be aware (as many who study the Word already are aware) that many our battels and the most fierce of them we have happen in our minds.
So much of our faith life even though "spiritual" is established through our mind.
But they Lord says from the Beginning, that we shall worship Him and Serve Him, with (all) our mind, heart, soul and strength.
We have a brain, we should use it.
What I want to get at in this writing, is in Kim's devotion, she talks about strong holds of the mind. She brings the verse from Proverbs that says "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he".
She goes on to say that if a negative thought comes to mind, it is easy to deal with by casting down (like the Bible instructs us to), but if the thought goes un prayed on, or if we keep thinking it and keep thinking about it without appying the Word of God to it to either validate it or condemn it, then it will only get worse. and that is how "strong holds" get developed in the mind. Or, on the mind.....
Thoughts are like vines. I think when Jesus said He is the True Vine, it had to do with the fact that not only in He the vine and we the branches but the virtues of Him by God like faith, peace, love, joy, patience and such the like, are like vines. Thoughts are like vines, too.
So, I want to share a little bit of my personal testimony.
and I never really share it often because it isn't something that I am proud of. But after I had been found by Christ, some events took place in my life and I ended up in a place called ACT, which is a government type of rehab/holding place for people who are having problems but aren't neccessarily illegal.
So, I was put there involuntarly, and committed, and diagnosed as in a word, "crazy".
I had to fight tooth and nail and WORD to keep my sanity.
I faced so much adversity, so much accusation, so much isolation, that all I had was God. The only one I could trust was Jesus, for a very very long time.
Even my own family believed satans lies.
And let me tell you, if it weren't for the TRUTH of GOD'S WORD ~ I might still be locked up.
I was perscribed very heavy dosages of anti-psychotic medication for about 4 or 5 years, and if I didn't believe in the healng power of God ALmighty, I might still be on those medications.
If you don't believe me, think about how many people there are who take medicine... they are out there.
All I am trying to say is that with God ALL things ARE possible.
Satan will kick you when you're down. he will spit in your face. he knows where you're weak and he will use it to his advantage to keep you down.
it's his job to keep you from glorifying god. it's his job to see if he can make you curse God, it's his job to see if he can dissuade you from believeing that God loves you.
I have questioned the LORD before. I have cried out to Him... Why god... why if you love me are youlettin this happen to me? And why have you turned everyone against me? even my family?
I don't know except that He wanted me. He wanted me to know that He will be with me in the fire.. He will be with me when no one else is.. He will believe in me when no one else will. He will protect me from and deliver me from all evil.
And through all of this I have learned and seen and believe all the more that Our God IS a HOLY ONE~ A HOLY and RIGHTEOUS GOD. He can HEAL. HE CAN DELIVER. HE CAN SPEAK. HE CAN BRING BACK THE DEAD TO LIFE AGAIN. HE CAN BRING THE DEAD TO LIFE. GET THIS PEOPLE! IF GOD ALMIGHT CAN RAISE MEN FROM THE DEAD INCLUDING OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHAT CAN'T HE DO????!!?!!
He can do Anything!

We have to believe, and stop limiting ou lives, or selves and our faith in a Holy God.
In a LOVING GOd.
I think we limit His love to what our earthly perception of love is... maybe it's conditional, maybe it's sex, maybe it's gifts, but His love is so much more... So supernatural.
So Wonderful.
We need to "renew our minds" in His Word. We should examine yes, our lives, but if we truly want to be "Christian" we should examine Jesus Christ and His ways.. if we really want to be like Him.
I love you people and I hope you see God's limitless love in your lives today.
And I hope you are refreshed and blessed, in Jesus Christ name!

JUDGEMENT DAY

What will you be doing on judgement day? Who are you thinking will be judging you?
What will you do, if your neighbor judges you?
Will you stop doing what you do?
Whatever that may be?

What if you do the will of God, and people judge you for it?
Will that make you quit?

What if you love and get hated for it?
Will you not love, for personal acceptance?

What if putting God first makes people in your life angry at you? Or call you names? Or tell you that you're wrong? Or tell you that you're crazy?
Will you stop serving God then?
Would you rather make human beings happy and be like them (people pleasing - self-gratifying- respectors of persons) or would you SERVE the LORD no matter what ?
Will you serve the LORD no matter what?
What if it means jepordizing your social status? What if it meant losing your job? what if it meant showing people your true self? what if it meant changing things you don't wanna change about your self and life?

God is not a half-way kindof God.
He is either ALL or NOTHING.
I mean if you're serious about LIVING FOR HIM.

I am speaking to myself in this... there are a few things I need to clean out of MY life to live a life that is WELL PLEASING to HIM.
And I see that now... and I repent.
I will henceforth strive with my righteousness to do what I know pleases my LORD and my GOD~in Jesus CHRIST"S NAME.

Love Changes Things _has been edited_

I see something in people's lives (sometimes) that i think we all need to understand and get free from.
I will use myself as an example, though I have tried to be the best I can in these types of situations, I have "felt" the way I am about to write about, though I think (and hope!) I've conquered this prety well...Lord give grace....
And what I want to write about, is not giving to someone for fear of them having something that I do not. AKA fear of loss. Fear of missing out. (envy)
It could be like if you are praying for somebody, and you pray for them but you hold back from actually really believing completely (with them) for thier blessing, because if they get blessed, maybe they will be happier than you, or maybe they will be getting something that maybe you want, too, but since they are asking for it or getting it, you are "upset" or angry about it. And what that comes from is a spirit of ungratefulness, a spirit of competition, of comparision and envy, and ultimatley unbelief. The Bible says in James that the spirit within man lusts to envy. And I think it is because (man, some women too) don't appreciate what they have. And maybe they have appreciated what they have, but then got tired of it, because maybe they were trying to fill a need use something other than god to make themselves have peace or be happy.
But that is God's place, and we have heard that He is a jealous God. Is He not?

If you ask and if you believe, then you will have what you ask for.
It is as simple as that.. Jesus even said it. But then there are things we can ask for that aren't what God wants us to have... but He will give it to us, to show us that is not what He wants us to have. Because, see, He wants us to learn to TRUST HIM. To TRUST HIS judgment(this isn't good for you, this is what I want for you).. because it's a RELATIONSHIP, a REAL relationship with God Almighty.
_edit_ we need to leard to LISTEN to the LORD, and then OBEY Him.... trusting that He has our BEST intrest in mind
So it's gotta be true. (we have to learn to be honest... and question our motives, sometimes, too..."why do i want, this or this?" and is it good for the long run? )

I think people, we have to learn to not judge each other. We have learned how TO judge each other, but we have to unlearn that, and learn how to love people. _We need to start paying attention to what our inner voice is saying. some people reading this would have even said "inner critic" where I said voice. We need to start supporting people we love and even sometimes the unlovable, because it's hard enough in this world to fit in and feel loved for who we are, individually and in community. WE all should appreciate each other_
Every body does things that are wrong sometimes, but should you stop loving them?
No. Keep loving them, because hopefully one day, they will see the results and the evidence of sin in thier lives. And they will have to face the fact that they are responsible (as we aLL are) for our own selves.
The bible says that by God's mercy and grace His people turn from sin. Meaning, we repent because we know He will forgive us... He won't throw us in a lion's den or into a wolf- pack for confessing to Him we make a mistake. In fact, He wants us to come to Him, because He understands, and wants to help us out of our (sinful) ways so that we can lead lives that Honor Him and fulfill our hearts. Because that's the kind of LORD He is... He wants His creation to be happy.
The Major difference in people who have Jesus as thier Savior vs. those who don't, is that believers(in Jesus Christ) have SomeOne they can call on to make things right in thier life.
Maybe you think that is pretentious, and maybe you say, what about people who abuse grace, by saying it's ok to sin because I can just ask Jesus to forgive me and it will be alright.
Forgiveness isn't the point here, because according to the WORD we ARE forgiven, the point is, are you doing the Will of God for YOUR life?
Is what you're doing getting you to where you want to go in life?
Is who you're with helping your life become a Glory to God, or are you hanging around people who bring you down?
Are there things in your life holding you back from who you want to be?
these are questions only you can find the answers to.
And if you come to find that there are things that you wish were different, then you have to accept responsibility for yourself, and make the changes neccessary to have the life you want.
'Cause we only get One. But we do get it, and if we need to change, there is still time. Life may be short, but it ain't over til it's over.
There was a message on a church sign close to where I live that said,
"We must become the change we want to see"
that was said by Mahatma Ghandi, an Indian Peacemaker....
But the statement is true.. instead of looking around judging everybody else, hating them, be a better person... love them, love them anyway, love them for who they are... because love is what people want... and need.
Love is all people really want and need.
And who can they get it from? How can they find it inside?
We have to show them that there is love inside ....
Love comes from the heart.... Love is free.... Love is alive, Love changes things. Big things.... Love changes lives.

I am so thankful for the rain we have been getting that I wanna say "Thank you Jesus!" So, Thank YA JESUS! I Love ya LORD!

I wanna encourage everybody, too, to remember that Jesus tells us to "Be a light" in this dark world. I know it's so easy to get ticked at people- driving, or at the grocery, or in the gov't buildings - anywhere really... But we are called to be PEACEMAKERS and CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH ... so, instead of expecting OTHERS to be perfect, let US be perfect and they will see and it (the SPIRIT OF JESUS CHRIST) will "rub off" on them... I BELIEVE!
.... So many people wanna "pray" for this wanna "pray" for that.. Jesus said, "ONLY BELIEVE" Maybe what they really mean, is "help me believe for this, and believe for that" (Lord Jesus help them!)

It doesn't get much simpler than that, My Friends. "Only Believe". Like when we were children and all we did was believe... we didn't say "oh pray for this, pray for that " about every single little thing.. all we had to do was believe... and if we did, we had what we asked... and that is the same principle Jeuss has given us for THIS DAY!

So, My Precious Ones, Be Encouraged to Believe for what God has for you, and do Just THAT, BELIEVE!~

U can do it... I believe in you!

I was reading a Joel Osteen book and this is what it said... The Word of God says that "the Redeemed of the LORD say so".
Not "think so" or "believe so" but SAY SO!
We as Children of the Most High God have authority over our own lives and especially concernign the Will of God for our lives. and if we start speaking Words that line up with His (God's ) will for our lives, nothing can stop IT from coming to pass!
Because when we agree WITH GOD - He is Empowered BY US to DO HIS GOOD PLEASURE.
ANd that my friends and loved ones is something to shout about!
People think other people are crazy when they see thm shoutin' and dancin' and acting all crazy but they are acting that way because something has happened inside of then that this body can't contain!
We are vessels for His Spirit and when He gets His way only one Word I can think of can describe it : ~GLORY~!
So... Here is what I said today that I want to write on here for a confirmation to MYSELF and to my readers:
I will do the Will of God for my Life. I Will do the will of God so much so that it will cause others to do the WIll of God for THIER lives and God Will Get ALL the GLORY!
I will tell the Truth in Love. I will set the captives free. I will love as Jesus has commanded. I will forgive as he forgave me. I am free and I Love THE LORD my God.
Love you all...In Jesus Christ the Lord!
Be Free... for we shall know the truth and the truth will make us FREE!

There is good and bad in everyone - and if you get so consumed in the bad that you forget about the person inside, remember that God made something special and good inside of everyone.

So, I was talking to a guy I met a while back and we were talking about relationships and marriage, and how he didn't really believe in marriage. He said to him, marriage was "the end"; that when you get married, "It's over".
I thought about that and thought about that and for a long time, I thought, you know... thats a really bleak outlook on marriage and life and stuff, and I never came to any expansion or understanding on what he had said.
But then recently I thought about it, and this has been happeneing to me more frequently with things I've "heard" or talked to people about. (the expansion thingy)
And what the word I got is: It IS over... The quest for LOVE. It IS the end, (Marriage).. the end of your search for "the" One and the beginning of Life!
I think that is awesome~
One of my good old friends said something funny but true, and that is, sometimes we have to be miserable to get where God wants to take us.
I don't like it, but, I can't deny that that is the truth- Sometimes ~
Maybe it's me... and it usually is, but, at the most I have a Holy God who is with me in the fire and in the rain... an He will never go away!
TO me that is a good thing. It keeps me on track.

I have been thinking about sex and, well, life. I am almost 30 now and I was not raised in a church friendly environment... but then came to the Lord later in life and began attending church.
I think the church has some good things going for it, but I also think that - at least in todays modern churches- there is a lot of condemnation on people for doing what people natuarlly do.
I think people need to learn how to respect and love.... its one thing to be corrective, but it's another to be condemning. To condemn or to say something is wrong, without showing or telling or teaching the RIGHT way to do a thing doesn't have much effect...
Its like saying, we know were wrong, but there's no right way...

I have more to say about all of this... but no is not the time.

love is patient.
have you been patient, lately? or have you lost your patience, lost your faith in hoping for something good?
can you wait on God? what is the rush for, anywhay?
love is patient and still kind...
even when i have to wait, i will smile .... i won't be angry at people, at anybody, for taking longer than what i want, or expect.
God works things in mysetrious ways.
i heard a story about 9/11 (twin towers) and there was a (good) report about a man who had been trying to go to work that day (he worked at the towers) and things kept delaying him.. traffic, stop lights...and he didn't make it to work on time, but because of those delays his life was saved.

love (aka charity) vaunteth not itself (vaunt means 'lift up', 'exalt', make 'high', as in "high and mighty"), and love aka charity is not puffed up....

jesus told us that the ones who "lift themselves up".. will be cast down, and those that "humble themselves", will be lifted up.

There is a very fine line between idolatry and reverence for God.
If you love something and use it accordingly, that is fine- with all moderation and regard for yourself, others and most of all God.
But if you misuse and abuse anything- then it becomes a problem.
Again, if you use something, and you are in control of how much, how often, and to better your life and the lives around you, then good.
But if the object controls you, your habits, your attitudes and your destiny, then it is an idol.

Many people hear the word "idol", and think of an unspecified person... or maybe they think of greek gods.... or maybe they don't really know what to think.
The first few definitions of "idol" in the merriam-webster online dictionary would easily confuse , or confirm the uncertainty of what exactly an idol might me... they call idol things like, "false god", "the likeness of something", "imposter"... but then we get to a better description of what an idol really is, that we can understand in "layman's terms":
'Idol' is defined and described as "an object of extreme devotion".

So, to break this down, an idol is something someone is extremely devoted to.
It could be anything.
It could be sex. It could be clothes, or vanity. It could be drugs. It could be money. It could be a lifestyle. Anything that consumes your mind - other than GOD - is an idol.

You may wonder then, How can anyone live and please God? Or How can anyone not be called an idolater?
The easiest answer is to confront your idols, and get rid of them.

But there's a biggger problem... and the main reason idolatry is suck a tricky demon to defeat.
Most people do not want to get rid of their idols... or their drug habits, or their spending habits, or their sexual gratifications, or their pride- yes pride is an idol. An idol of the ego, an idol of the self.
HMMMMMM.........................................................???

People - if people want to be TRULY and WHOLLY satisfyed in their lives should realize that if something is needed to make them happy in life, or feel better about thier life, unless it's GOD, then it's an idol.

I see people never satisfyed, never satusfyed with thier lives, or thier work or their relationships because they try to find satisfaction in ways that will never satisfy.

The things that truly bring satisfaction and peace and contentment and glory to life and to people are things from GOD, pure things... true things, good things....
let me tell you of some...
LOVE

PEACE

JOY

RIGHTEOUSNESS

GOODNESS

GENTLENESS

KINDNESS

HUMILITY

MODERATION aka TEMPERANCE aka SELF-CONTROL

which brings us back to the subject of this message.

Idolatry vs. Self- Control

I confess: I used to be a chain smoker. And I used to be a "pot-head". I used to be a lot of other things.

Then I got set free.

I will make another confession.
I have smoked cigarettes since I quit.
I have even smoked pot since I quit.

But the difference is this:
cigarettes do not control me..... the urge or craving for cigarettes do not control me... getting high on weed does not control me... I don't have to spend money every week on drugs or cigarettes every week to maintain my inner peace and sanctity. I don't have to smoke a joint every day to enjoy the day. I know some people who can't LIVE and be happy and normal with out consuming some type of substances. Yeah, I take herbs, but thier legal, and I can survive pretty good without them. I treat them like a luxury, not a neccessity.
When we start depending on things, like drugs for happiness, sex for pleasure, money for entertainment, then we begin to lose the true value of happiness, pleasure, and enjoyment of life... for what it is.

I have learned the glory of the liberty of not being in chains to things that kill and waste and uses and makes poor.

I used drugs and cigarettes --- they were my friends.
If I was lonely or alone or bored, smoking made me feel like I was doing something... it took my mind off of it's lonliness... but it was hurting me. And it was making me tired and I was wasting all my money and my precious energy and I was only becomeing unhealthier and unclean because of them... I can go on and on.

I know the victory of conqering my addictions.
I know what it's like to be freed from chains of the mind... of the spirit.. of the self.

YOU CAN BE FREE~!

FIGHT FOR YOUR FREEDOM~

FIGHT FOOR YOUR PEACE~

BELIEVE IN REAL SATISFACTION~
BELIEVE IN REAL LOVE -

I think people want good lives.
I do!
I think people would like to be happy and not sad. I think people would like to be respected and appreciated, not angry or disrespected ...
but what does it take to be happy, you can't MAKE people honor and respect you... sometimes you can't even get people to LISTEN to you!
So what can we do?!
I think people want good lives.... but we can't expect to do whatever we want (good or bad) and then expect everything to be good.
Everything in life that we experience is a result from choice.
Everything WE do is our choice... Every one has choice. AKA FREE WILL.
Our Free Will goes as far as our attitude to our outfit, our job to our integrity, our dinner to our workout routines..... and we all know that good things sometimes take effort and discipline.
Sometimes though, good things are easy.
Sometimes we do not recognize just how easy they good things are!

(because everything else in life is a struggle)

We have to choose if we want the good or the bad.
If what you think is good is good, then you should be happy right?
Or maybe you are not happy because you are subject to someone else's Free Will. And in the Truth, we all are subject to one another in that we all have Free Will.
We have the power to love or hate each other. We have the power to hurt or heal.
We have power to forgive and forget, ourselves and each other.....we only have to choose it.

We should not let other people's Free Will affect OUR Free Will, or we can now call Good Will.
Sometimes our Good Will is hurt when others do not appreciate or respect it.
So sometimes (I speak from experience) Good Will turns south .... well, maybe WE turn south, when we feel dishonored, disrespected or unappreciated.
But - we can only be what we are.
I love the fact that we are all individuals. It gives me hope to think that hopefully, other people can forgive me, as I learn to forgive myself. And I also forgive others that have hurt me.
Sometimes people don't realize that they are hurting another person...maybe they can only see where they are right now and life, and have forgotten that there is a future ahead of them. Maybe they are living for the moment instead of seizing the moment.
Sometimes I don't realize how I hurt others... sometimes I don't see my self the way I really am.
And when people try to tell me, I either don't believe them, don't understand them or am so hurt that I don't seem to care (because of my passion in self-)

We are all human beings.

Who are you?

Who am I to you?

But if we look inside, sometimes we have to open up and say... I am human. This means I am vulnerable.... I am weak, sometimes I am too strong.
But I have a heart... I have a mind .... (of my own) and so do you.
I bleed, but don't we all?

Jesus bled so we would remember that---- and His message is to forgive one another completely (from our heart) and to love one another as He loved us.
Embarrassed...Ashamed (he was naked on the cross), humiliated (he was God's Son, right? and look at Him on the Cross!)Rejected, Neglected, Hated.... but now we can be AWARE of the Reason He existed....Truth, Love, Life Eternal.

_If You Make a Mistake, Learn From It_

I hang around with a lot of men. It's because I was raised by my Daddy and my brother. I lived at my grandmother's house, and was also influenced by my grandpa.

I watch and listen - and a couple things I want to say - that I have seen recently - are that men fear death.
All some men talk about is dying, fear of dying - -- maybe it's a fear of not accomplishing the LIFE God has given to you.
BUt, nevertheless, the point I want to make is that I see these types of men, and I see this in common- they would rather dye, than forgive one another.
They would rather dye than give something to a brother- (or a sister sometimes?)
they would rather dye than go to church. They would rather dye, than dye to self.

so they fear death... because fo their pride. Because of their shame, they are afraid of what other people think. But they don't repent.
They are so ashamed of their sin, they feel so misunderstood, so ruled by thier emotions- and try to figure it out by themselves, or ask each other- or abuse themselves with substances that temporarily relieve the emotional pain (the continual reminder of thier "failure" "wrong", "hurt", "conviction") that they lose the truth- and they want someone to come an save them, but they need to get up and save themselves.

They need to realize that only God Almighty is perfect, and that He is Merciful, He is Faithful, and It's all about HIM.
The conviction is, Maybe THEY were wrong---- (not the other person)-- but maybe NOBODY "taught" them "HOW" to FORGIVE ~someone~ (you fill in the blanks)---
maybe they have never seen -witnessed- a "scenerio" of someone giving another one - of humbling thyself and LEARNING HOW to change a situation for a greater cause.
Maybe they think they are better than others- (I think that type of thinking is backwards)-

That, my dear ones, is called "Live and Learn." Maybe also you could say ... "If you make a mistake, Learn from it!".....
And Turn Toward God.

God is The Saviour- Seek the LORD GOD and Be SAVED~!

Wisdom for Thyself

Instead of telling people what they need to do - We should pray that they get a revelation from God - and they will!
Why should you hate someone because they don't know better? If you are truly of God, you will want them to learn to love- so we can all be one- with loe, with respect, with Peace- With GOD.
Sometimes I tell people what I think they should be doing. I am always correcting people, and sometimes giving good advice, but they get mad and annoyed at me whan I tell them.
It's because they haven't asked for it.
They haven't gotten tired of the same old same old, and they are "o.k." living in their comfort zone of complacency.
They will never change or recieve the blessings that they deep down really want - until they SEE the need for a change, and THEN they will seek the LORD.

So for now I keep my wisdom to myself....unless it is solicited and asked for.

What do you think about people that justify their wrongs by saying other people's wrongs are ok?
Like saying, "Oh, the Jones' left their garbage cans out all week so we're ok for leaving ours out, even if it was only for half a week."
I see it as double evil.
I don't mean to get all political on ya or religious, but I had what I thought at one time was a group of friends, but when it came to the nitty-gritty I realized that they weren't really all they cracked themselves up to be, even though they seem to act like they are something they're not.
I see such people ... and I am aware of their fear- whether they are or not. Whether they choose to confront their fears or not, they will live in them untill they choose to deal face to face with reality. Not "their" reality, not what they think is reality, but- reality.
there are somethings that just ARE - and no matter how you try to make it right or wrong, you cannot make what is wrong, right, and you cannot make what is right, wrong.
Even if you decieve yourself into thinking (believing) that something wrong is right, that doesn't make it right- sorry to break it to ya, but you are not the ruler of the universe! That position is already taken!
And let me assure you, I speak with first hand knowledge, I know how easy it can be to decieve and trick ourselves into thinking all kinds of lies, excuses deceptions and falsehoods, in order to get what we want, hide from our shame or sin, or try to make our seves feel better.
And that is another issue that I want to mention as well.... making selves feel better.
So many times, people, deal with the "symptoms" of the issue, and not the actual issue itself.
Why is that?
(I am really funny about using the word "why" but I feel like this is the proper usage---- we should never question "why" someone "feels" a certain way, or "why" they did something, or "why" they think what they think.... that kind of usage of "why" is oppressive, disbelieveing and goes against the nature of freedom, --- we do what we do-- we all have freedom of choice- the question is, are you sure this is right, Are you positive that this is a good choice, is this what you want to do?)
Back to Why do not people deal with the issues, and only try to make them selves temporarily "feel" ok with themselves?
I really do not know the answer for each individuals life, I can only speak of my self, or give you my opinion (on someone else), but for me, I have learned that if I do not confront the real issue at hand, and only attempt to temporarily relieve they symptom(s) of the issue, I would still be left with an issue, maybe at an even greater depth of difficulty of overcoming, but I now know it is Way better to deal head-on with the ISSUE, and not the SYMPTOM of (the) problem- whatever it may be.

I think it must be scary or painful sometimes to admit our shortcomings, or faults, or setback, or even our weaknesses to each other, our families, and sometimes even our own selves! (Much less GOD!, the One who wants to HELP us with these infirmities!)

So what do we do?
What CAN we do?
We can begin the process of soul-searching. (Not others, our OWN!!! ;)
We can begin to really look at the areas of our hearts, and lives and even our own thoughts, and confront the things we think need to change (in order for us to truly address and deal with the "issues" and not just the "syptoms" ), and sometimes is can be scary.... because we might be so overwhelmed by our own foolishness, or wickedness, or embarrassed by our ignorance and so ashamed of our selves that we fear confronting or even thinkingh about such things because we feel alone, or that we "can't tell anyone" because they might reject us, or not understand, or laugh us off (to scorn), or think we're dumb or stupid for feeling or thinking the ways we feel or the things we think.
Believe me I've been through it. But.... I think in some ways we probably all have.... AND, I just want to write this and say thank good ness for Grace. Thank God for His Mercy. Blessed be the ones who are willing and tenacious in confronting themselves- you already know the blessings of truth, love and the grace of God through Jesus Christ! And I want to say also to those that maybe aren't where they want to be in life, or in their spiritual walk- maybe you know there is more for you, maybe you are not really as satisfyed as you truly desire to be- and maybe you think that life is never going to be completely fulfilling- maybe you think nobody will ever truly understand you---or truly care- I want to tell you that someone does understand, and that someone does care- His name is Lord Jesus.
I do not know how many "Believers" I have on here, but I can tell you, when I had no one, I had Jesus. He has been my Faithful Friend.
And when you find yourself all alone, with no one else to trun to, He will be there, and He will guide you, comfort you and show you the Way.
Like He did for me. (And always will!)
To make it easy and to close things up, let me put it to you like this, I can't heal or repair all you problems..... but there is One who can!

The United Methodist Church in the Town that I live always has a thought or phrase that they change up every week on their church sign...and this week it says, "Are you teachable"
That phrase means very very much to me, considering a few very meaningfull things.
For one, I heard the message of the gospel being preached by a small group of evangelists that were from Georgia, 8 years ago. They had set up shop, so to say pretty much right across the street from where the Methodist church is downtown. they had brought out their guitars, even a set of drums and were playing and ministering on the side of the road, holding signs saying "turn or burn" and such as the like.

I was about 20 years old. I had never heard the Gospel. I didn't even know who Jesus Christ was.

But there they were, preaching and playing on the side of the street Downtown Deland on a Friday night.

Something about them made me feel good. I saw Light in their Light, and they "loved" me. I went to their house church meetings, listened to their radio broadcasts on 1310 am ... (if you live in the area and are a Spirit seeker, you probably know about 1310.... !) and then after about 6 months of hearing the Word. I asked for Jesus. (That was actually in a car at about 10:30pm in a Publix parking lot. )
But the ministry of the ones I met in Downtown Deland has meant everything to me.. if they had not been sent, I had not heard, if I had not heard, only the LORD knows where I would be!
But thanks be to the LORD for His Word, His Ways and His Great Commission!
The thing that made me want to write this message today though was what is on the Methodist sign outside... "Are you teachable" ....
When I had gotten my salvation, and I had even been water baptized (by a man named John, no less!) and I had also recieved the Holy Ghost with fire and the gift of tongues, I started having ... "Problems". Not problems by me, but ... how can I say this - all hell came against me.
I had to fight to prove real, and like I said in a post before this, I had so much persecution even from my very own family- that I had a difficult time being stable. One of the things that John (my baptismal preacher!) had told me a few times before they went on thier High Journey was that I wasn't teachable.
I thought I was, but I honestly had way too much going on and was so new to the Faithof Christ that I didn't really understand what he meant. After they had gone I didn't have a home church and went through many other trials and tribulations, but here I am! It's been 8 years in the making and I think I am finally teachable!
~Hallelujah!~

The answer is finally, "Yes."

~I am learning~

Thank You Jesus! Thank you for sending your workers to meet me where I was, Lord, and where I am.(Always~) You are always Faithful- Help me and others to trust Your Faithfulness, more and more I pray. For this I thank you, Father, in Jesus name. amen.

I pray and think when I’m riding in cars sometimes and last night after church I was thinking and praying and I get real inspired many times on what to write about in those moments and last night I thought about people judging other people. Like people judge other people or maybe another “person” based on what they see (in the natural). But in the natural we do not always see what is behind the scenes, so to say.
I can give you many examples, even of my own life and even in scripture that back this up 100%.
The first scripture I want to bring up Is "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit."(Proverbs18:21). See, what we speak, becomes what we see. And if we go around speaking life, we get life; if we speak death, we get death. And, if we go around speaking what we see, (which we all do sometimes), if we speak the truth (about it), then all is well, it is good for edification, exhortation and comfort. But if we go around speaking falsehood(bearing false witness), according to “our” ignorance, judgmental ways, or selfishness, then we (in the natural) “subject” life and truth to things less than what they are. Because if it is not of truth, then it is .. well, less than real.
I will give you an example.
I will use my own life experiences, so it can also be for a testimony, and a glory and a hope unto the LORD.
When I got saved about 8 years ago, I did a complete 360 turn around from the life I was living to a life that honored God. I did so much so, that the people in my life thought I had gone mad. And in a way, I kind of did.
When I found my God and Jesus Christ, I completely cleaned out my bedroom of all my possessions. Clothes, music cds, shoes, hats, pictures, everything. When I was done I had a long black skirt and two tops and I don’t even remember what kind of shoes I kept. I literally had nothing.
The people in my life saw the changes in me and it scared them. And they thought something was wrong with me. There were times that I definatley went to extremes to hear from God… but you know what? I heard from Him. And what the point of all of this I’m saying is that the peope in my life, namely family and a couple of long time friends, thought I lost my mind. And they began speaking that.
They said it over and over- to each other, to other people, even to me.
But I did not believe them.
I knew that God was doing something awesome inside me, and in my heart and in my life and in His Kingdom. I did not know exactly what it was at the time, but I knew it was His doing.
It was not easy to hear my family say thingslike that, and to go through the things I believed violated my rights and my privacy and my freedom… and I suppose it was not easy for them either, to understand the will and the mind of God. But because I did not allow myself – rather, because the LORD kept me, and always held me steadfast in His Presence and His Truth (His Word.) I was able to make it through a very trying time. And come out on the the better side.
I have learned so much about the LORD through the last ten years that I would not change but one thing. - and that being my own fault. (The Lord knows.)
But, the most important thing I want to convey through this -my experience to you, whoever you may be, one or many, is that there is power in what we speak.
Whether it be on a pulpit, on the phone with a friend, here in virtual land, or in person face-to- face. God created with the Word. He destroys with a word. The power of life and death are in the tongue, and not only that – but there is truth and / or falsehood behind our words. See, we can say one thing, and be completely sincere and honest about it – or we can say that same thing, yet not care at all. (And most of the time humans are pretty uncanny about sensing when others are being real with them or not....)
There is depth to the words we speak. There is purpose behind everything. The words that have power are the words spoken in truth. Whether for good or for bad, it’s the truth behind the Word that gives it it’s strength. And I believe ultimately if there be truth inside those words, they will be for good. Even if they hurt.
Sometimes truth hurts.
Sometimes life is painful, - We cannot avoid pain in life. We do not have to wallow in it, or stay in it, but to try to avoid pain would be unrealistic.
“He who would have nothing to do with thorns should never attempt to gather roses”.

Look at Jesus, our Lord. I do not think that he saw the cross as glorious at all. I think modern man has glorified the crucifixion- and I do not discredit it(the crucifixion) at all- it is my life, it is truly the only reason I am here. But I think the pain Jesus went through was not to make Himself famous, like some kind of idol.
It was a real event that took place- it was a moment that he realized life is real- A moment when He saw the desperate need of humanity for God-I believe that God became more and more real to Him as He lived his last moments before That Moment. And the whole purpose of the cross was to bring us to The Truth- of God. He died so that I would know that someone loved me. So that I would have a way to get out of the filthiness of sin… he died so that I would find strength to live. He died so that I would be able to see the truth from the lies. He died so that I would not have to (die before my time). He died to prove to mankind that God is Real. He died to prove to mankind that God is ALL Powerful. He died for so many more reasons- I think if you look you will see. (If you look with ALL your heart ! - Jeremiah!)
He died for you and everyone around you- and me.
And not only did He die but He died with a greater glory in mind that He rose from the dead! (The thourns and the rose!) that God can do it- God can make a Way where there seems to be no way. God can do the "impossible!!!" It is not in how we human minds think --- because in these days everyone seems to look to each other to find an easy way out or to find love in inanimate objects or to hurry through life, well, let me tell you- look to God for all these things and you will find much more than you could ever have asked for.

Look to the LORD, God Almighty- God Most High.
Find your answers in Him. Read His Words…listen to what He says, and you will learn the truth. "Humble yourselves, sons of men, hide yourselves, daughters without care- for the LORD on High is looking upon the earth, to see if any are ready for His return. To see if any take Him seriously. To see if any are willing to believe. And to live in these last days, for His Righteous cause and His Righteous Ways. For He is looking for a Righteous People- a People that will not go astray, nor turn aside at the worlds wicked ways. For the LORD is Holy, and HE longs for a Holy Nation. He longs for an Holy People. For HE is a Most Holy God. Amen. "

Watch what you say people, myself included- for there is power in (our ) words-
May we all be mindful of the LORD- with us. In Jesus name. amen.

Blood and Mercy

Right on to buddy Riddell.... in that many churches today do not like to preach the bloody message of the truth of the cross....
I was praying on the WORD the other night and heard from my associate pastor at church the verse in psalms that goes "mercy and truth have met together"(Psalms)...see the message of the cross is mercy. And some people do not recieve full mercy, full forgiveness- they still feel bad, like they don't deserve full forgiveness, full mecry.
But the complete truth about it is, without truth, we would not need mercy.
think about that.
Without truth, there would be no need for mercy.

How can you be merciful for something that isn't really deserving of mercy?
That would be like- false mercy.
Mercy is for people who need it.
Mercy and truth meet,--- with out sin we wouldn't need a savior.
People are not perfect. I think it's real easy to try an believe that humans are some kind of perfect- but they're not. and just because you don't "SEE" their sins, does not mean that they don't have any.
Many times, the sins you can't see are the worst.

Thank God the LORD for His Holy Spirit, for His discernment, His TRUTH ABSOLUTE, that is Love that covers a multitude of sins, mercy that meets truth. And Peace that kisses righteousness.
Amen, and amen.

A couple of weeks ago I was hangin' out with one of my guy friends that I've known in the Lord for a few years. And I hadn't seen him in a long time but seeing him is always good...and from our last time of spending a little time together I realized we had talked about something that I can share... that maybe you can think about and take with you.
We were on the phone and I always ask him like, tons of questions 'cause I don't always have trusted guy friends to that I can conversate with... and sometimes I thinkI can be quizzical to him. Sometimes I ask him questions because I want to know, and sometimes I ask him questions to see if he understands (me, - like, am I crazy for thinking this or do u know what I mean??:) and then, sometimesI ask him questions to see if HE knows what is going on. ;) I think some ladies might know what I am talking about here...but anyways, what I asked him was this:
"If Jesus was here right now, is there anything in your life you would do differently? Like, would you act differently, talk differently???" etcetera etcetera...
well... his answer was like, yeah, totally.
So then what I said was this,
If you would live or act or talk or be differerent if you KNEW Jesus was here, then why don't you just be that way NOW?!?!!?
I mean, GOD IS HERE, isn't He?
And Jesus basically came so we would Know that.
Virtually...
so........
I think also it could be applied many different ways....
maybe you would have more faith, if you knew Jesus was here... or if he was (in person) standing next to you..... because He would speak the Word for you,- but, He gives US power, DUNAMIS POWER - and HIS HOLY SPIRIT- that does the work for us.
It (The Word of God) says that it is "Not by might, nor by power, but by MY SPIRIT"-
(Thus sayeth the LORD)
God is so powerful.... al HE has to do is speak- and it changes everything.
And it isn't about yelling or screaming or getting violent. I believe Jesus didn't get violent all the time... I only read one instance where he acted out in a sense of violence and that was to overthrow the people selling things in the church to get a gain.
I've heard a few people's variation of what the parable of the mustard seed of faith means to them. To some it means having a small amount of faith, yet seeing it move for God. And that's fine, I have believed that and have prayed it and have seen results from it.
But I know there is also a faith that is simple, and plain, and that has purpose, and that is mustard seed faith.
Its plain, to the point, it does the job. And does it the only way that it can be done!

Testimony~

I have been thinking for sometime on writing some testimony of mine here on this webpage. There is really so much I have gone through that to sit and write it all would be probably impossible. But, I can definatley testify on what the LORD is doing in my life right now, in regards to my salvation and some of what I have been through in my life.
It starts with a 17 year old girl that was pregnant, and had an abortion.
That girl was me.
I was a runaway, living with a boyfriend. A guy 2 years older than me, under house arrest, at his dad's house. It was bad.
I got pregnant. I found out. As soon as I found out, I burst into tears full of fear, full of pain, full of guilt.
I did not know what to do to provide for a child. I did not have anyone to turn to for any kind of "moral" support.
I turned to someone, and, unfortunatly, they advised me to have an abortion. And because I had no other "choice", by means of intervention or support -(my family had divorced 5 yr.s prior and my parents never talked, even to this day they do not talk to each other)-
I decided to have an abortion.
Deep down I didn't want to have an abortion. But I didn't have anybody or anyone to consider the alternatives, or to figure out how to make it in this life with a baby.
No one!
In fact, after I had made the choice, I didn't even tell anybody except the three or four people who knew. I didn't think I needed to.
The day came- and I can truly say I believe that having an abortion was the worst decision I have ever made.
But In some way, I don't feel completly responsible for making that decision. I just wish that I had had more fortitude at the time to stand up for myself and run out of that office like I had wanted to.
And, believe me, I wanted to.
After that, and I mean immediatly after I woke up- all I thought about was wanting to go back to sleep. All I wanted to do was be "out of my mind". So I started using drugs. I had been around drugs before. I had done them - but now I just wanted to escape - escape my reality - escape my mistake- escape my pain. my shame. and my sorrow.
I really believe that abortion is deeply opposing to what the true nature of a woman is. And I think it affects men who are involved just as deeply.
I cannot express what it has been like trying to get over the grief, the shame, the anxiety, the self-loathing and the pain of what I have experienced.
But I was bold enough one day very recently to talk to a lady online who was making prayer request for a "friend's daughter who was considering having an abortion".
I typed a prayer right away.
Then she posted back and sounded a bit (in my opinion) doubtful for the girl. So I wrote her back and told her she needed to step in.. and tell the girl this and that- she needed to DO SOMETHING to help that girl, to stop her from making such a horrible painful bad choice.
We wrote back and forth about 4 or 5 times for a week, and then one day I checked to see if she wrote me back. And what she wrote was not what I had expected.... but she wrote and asked me if I needed a healing. She asked me... if I had been completely healed from the abortion that I had... she said I was angry... she showed me things that I didn't really see.
Yeah, I knew I was angry- I knew I still (have) pain- but I didn't see at the time that the LORD was (and IS) dealing with my heart, He wants to heal my pain.
And that is what He has been doing. It hasn't been too long ago.. only a couple of weeks...
I had borrowed a book about healing from abortion about a week before all of that happened. I hadn't even picked it up to read it; but after communicating with the lady online, and sensing the LORD's desire for me... in the fact the He didn't give up on persuing me- to heal me.
How can I say... what a Wonderful God we have!
And the first night I spent with Him, since He began this healing and recovery in my soul, I have had a PEACE that I have not FELT in OVER 10 years.
seriously!
I have been so blessed... I did not even KNOW what was missing in me.
It hasn't been fully set in me... sometimes I turn to the LORD and feel it again... but I am trusting the LORD to make it a permanent healing, and a permanent peace, a SHALOM peace, in me.
Shalom means "perfect peace'' in Hebrew.
That is what I am truly hoping for.
As well as being able to come out of the walls of isolation and hiding for fear of no one understanding me... or the pain I have carried with me since I was a little thing.
( I think now 17 years old is like so young!!! I'm almost 30! yikes!)
You know... I could look at it like... so much has been wasted... so much I could have had... I could blame God, I could never want to get better... but I do.
I realize... and I'm thankful and grateful that at least I can be healed! At least I am saved now! I may have lost a few years, but I now have the rest of my life to live with God through Jesus Christ~ I still have time to get married and have a family. And.. sin is not God's fault. I am thankful that He reached down from heaven and saved me... and loved me.... and that He didn't give up on healing me. And HE is With me.
And I LOVE Him.

I have been thinking deeply about homosexuality. (Not for me, but about "it")- does anyone ever consider how homosexuals use the rainbow as their emblem... when after God destroyed the earth because men were exceedingly wicked, He put the rainbow in the sky ... saying He would not destroy man again by flood...
Another thing I have been thinking about is how people, if they felt comfortable talking about their inner struggles, maybe homosexuality, or who knows, drug tempttation, anger issues.. all these things, maybe they could find real help. I think people, wheter Christian or not, get real uncomfortable when people begin confessing their Real problems. Mostly because they don't know how to handle them. But we should realize that wickedness is not uncommon to mankind. Jesus said the works of the flesh come out of men's hearts. Fornications, adulteries, thefts, murders, all manner of wickedness.
But... I really think and believe that just because you or I have a wicked thought, we do not neccessarily want to act on it. We do not even want the thought(s) whatever it or they may be.
So what should we do? Or what could we do?
Do you feel cpomfortable enough with anybody you know to be able to confess the worst possible thoughts you may have had to another living person? Or are you afraid they would judge or condemn you? I mean what about you, if someone confessed something horrendous, whether they were tormented by and idea or what if they actually DID something and felt BAD about it but needed help... how would you deal with it?
I mean, people, we need to be more compassionate with each other.. and love people no matter what. It is called unconditional love.
And it is the One and Only thing that will help ANYBODY and EVERYBODY to overcome the fall and the wickedness and the tempations of mankind.
All people need and truly truly desire is love, whether it be in the form of love, respect, appreciation, admiration, affection, recognition... whatever and everyform, it is truly wat people want.
(And need....... and desire......)
But WHY THEN ARE PEOPLE SO HESITANT TO GIVE IT? (love).
Why don't people love freely?
Are they afraid of who they love getting "the wrong idea" ?
Are they afraid of making someone else jealous?

How can we truly love others...?
Maybe they feel or think if they love they won't be loved in return.
I ddon't know what other people think....and I don't get too many comments here on this page. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing but I don't write all this for the fun of it I believe I am dealing with some for-real issues here that I think about and pray about EVERY DAY.
I don't care what teh world says or what "man " or "woman" says...I believe in LOVE ... no, I am not talking about romance here though it does exists... I am talking about loving people the SECOND COMMANDMENT GOD GAVE HUMAN KIND! PEOPLE!
COMEON NOW!
Let's get with it! Why do w go around judging or feelin' like others are judging us when they probably arent!!!!!And even if they were or are.. is judging them back or shutting down or hating them or not talking to them (avoiding them) really gonna help the situation?
Why are we afraid to love people that are already loved?
Why are we afraid to show our true love?
We're afraid of getting hurt.. being hurt... hurting others....
I just found a quote in a book I got it's a book of proverbs on the Fruits of the Spirit... one of the quotes says:
"He who would have nothing to do with thorns should have nothing to do with roses"

We get hurt in life... we will no matter what.
We suffder sometimes, we cry... we have pain, it's part of life.
Solomon said with knowledge comes sorrow....
are you going to let pain or sorrow or hurts stop you from loving?
What about the love that doesn't stop.... or quit.. .and that does not get easily offended or stop loving because it was offended. We need to see that life is not about "us''. Yes, we are here and yes we're involved... we are alive. But there is a greater Cause, there is a greater ONE than us.
We do not live forever..... but there is One who does.
We should live our lives as though when we get old and are about to make our Final Journey Home, we can look on our lives and think, "YES, I did and said everything I wanted to... my days have been full of love and joy and peace. I have no regrets. I have been blessed. I have done good.''
The only thing that will satisfy you or anyone you know in life is love.
I truly believe this with all myheart.

A post.script. note. about the homosexual thing I was thinking about ... Ihave heard women say when they have struggled with relationships that they "marry Christ". I have read inthe Bible.Paul talking about being married to Christ. And God Himself says He is married to the backslider.
When I think about homo's that wanna marry each other, I think, they should marry Jesus, instead.
I hope this doesn't offend you... but for real. What if you said that to a gay guy whao was flaunting his sin. King David said he cast down the wickedness of the wicked. So did Job.
And we gotta remember, people who are living in extreme wickedness do not truly like it.
They just don't know what it really feels like to be truly loved, cared for, believed in, stood up for, appreciated, understood. I'm not talking about understaniding sin, I'm talking about understanding pain.
Sin comes from a lack -
what?
A lack of LOVE.
Love people... you never know whose life you might change.

I think also (true) forgiveness, and (pure) humilty can sudue all manner of evil.

Sounds easy, right? We make it harder than it should be, no?
How do you love the LORD thy God with all thy mind?
I'm not asking not knowing.. I am asking... you!!???
How do YOU love the LORD with all YOUR mind?
How do YOU love Him with all your HEART?
How do YOU love Him with all your SOUL?
How do YOU love Him with all your STRENGTH?

I can't answer these questions for you... only you yourself know what is in your heart and who you are... what you give (to God) is between you and Him.
But are you gonna' let things come between you and Him?
What I mean is....when you are in a crowd ... are you gonna' let fear of what other people think stop you from worshipping the KING?
David sais over and over in the Psalms that he shouts unto the LORD ... that he makes known HIS praise among the people.... He (David) danced naked in the streets of Jerusalem praising Our God!
And when his wife got mad.. he told her he planned on becoming even more undignified than that! (To honor God..)
Because it doens't matter what man thinks... it can be easy to get sucked into the trap of thinking that you have to please everybody...to keep peace or to keep people happy....
But if you are making people happy at the expense of drawing deeper into God... then I think you are paying a pretty high price.... and hurtin' for it too.
Why then do we sometimes stop ourselves from being who God calls us to be?

We are Called Out----We aren't supposed to be like everyone around us.
OH! AND .... If you're in a place where you DON'T feel the FREEDOM to WORSHIP the LORD the Way you should or desire to... then realize it is in YOUR ability to pull that stronghold down... and bring in God. See, He lives inside us.. and we carry Him where ever we go... You can move into the Presence of God... and you can move others into His Presence. We have to train our selves (Whole Selves-mind, heart, soul, strength aka will of the flesh) to hasten to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit... and not for us for Him.
We can bring down strongholds.

We can Worship the LORD.

Where the SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS, THERE IS LIBERTY.
Worship the LORD- Bless His Holy NAME. Glorfy the LORD thy God. For HE alone is WORTHY!

When I think about my life, and the things I have lost for Christ, and my ministry, I guess I feel, there is healing in the hurt...in the fact that I minister to people who will never have to go what I went through- yet I give myself for their life.
I am not jealous....I am not envious.
At a loss... to a greater gain.
I am deeply sorrowed by my own pain, and yet, because I'm in God's care, I am o.k. with it.....
Life so fragile, so powerful. So eternal, experienced in this flesh.
I praise my God~YHVH.

Choice and Ability

I was reading an article and out of nowhere the idea of "choice and ability" came out of it to me.
I think it is easy to see the words choice and ability and think "she is talking about doing what you can..." or in other word, settling for less.
We humans have been given the "ability" to do great and mighty things. Some of us use our abilities, some do not. Some use them for good, some use them for evil. What we choose to do with our abilities is up to us. We can be selfish and try to satisfy our own self-gratifying cravings, or we can seek after God and ask Him what would He have us to "use" our "ability(s)" on...for Him.
I, personally beleive, that every part of who we (individually) are has a special and unique purpose and capacity to serve God with. I do not think that He created us without knowing that some things that we do for Him we enjoy, and some things we do for Him we do not always "enjoy". But we do them anyway, for a greater cause.
He knows this. For He created us this way.
I think, if we look at life and what we "do" with it (by our workings of our abilities), we can learn more about life, the LORD God, and each other, in ourselves. If we "reflect". (on the inside)
I think it helps us attain and achieve the Higher purpose of creation.
So, choice then, can be.... up to us. We all have "free will", or, aka, "the law of liberty".
We reap what we sow. Pressed down, shaken together running over shall be given back to us in full- according to how we do, and give. It could be time, money, time with the LORD, Bible-study, excersizing a habit, whether good or bad, because practice makes perfect.
("but only if you practice perfect" my Dad always said~)
So... what are your abilities? What are you going to do with them? What are your choices? What potential is there in you? In Life? in Love?
How far are you willing to go for what you want in this your life, or what you think you want?
Some reap 30, some 60, some 100 fold.
Let's strive to be the best we can be... and even if that means being humble, for our own sakes!

lust of the flesh, eyes and the pride of life

I have heard it said, and I am not sure if it is in the Bible, I think it is.. that strong men of faith fall because of lust.

I have been thinking about this for a while, and while through life lessons I thought I have conquered lust (that was the lust of the eyes) I realize that I still struggle with the area of the lust of the flesh. So from the get go, let me warn y'all that I am still being perfected.
But what I recently thought on earlier today is something that has made headline news.
Tiger Woods.
I normally don't write about people, and I haven't heard any details about his situation- all I know is that he was in an adulterous relationship. I thought about how humiliating it must be - to have a world reknown reputation, a family, and a future, and now-look.
But what is he probably really humiliated about?
Not that he actually had an affair (or in other words sinned), but that he couldn't control his urges.
I have been thinking about this problem of lust for a while- and I want to ask people - why?
Why does lust make you stray? Or why does lust make you do things that destroy you?
Why can't we look past the flesh, or past or natural eyes? Why can't we see the end results of our potential actions before we act on them? (when they are bad ?)
I mean- if you or I were in a situation where we were tempted and tried, could we stop to ask ourselves... is it really worth it?
Once you get your "satisfaction" are you really going to be satisfied?
No.
Why?
Because lust only gets worse when you act upon it-
like any kind of addiction or bad habit, you have to conquer it - and it takes time.
You have to identify the root problem, admit that it's a problem, and SOLVE the problem!
The only answer that I know can solve any and every problem is the LOVE of GOD.
Truly.
The True Love of God.
Not going to church, not going to self- help meetings, not counseling, not avoiding the problem--- no no no.
The ONE AND ONLY THING that can HEAL you and SET YOU FREE is the Power of God - the Work of the Holy Ghost and the Anointing of JESUS Christ in your life.
I don't know ANYBODY that has been set free like a child of God has!
Because whom the Son sets free is free indeed. You will be free, and you stay free, and the LORD is glorified in you. ~
I think it takes patience and a lot of trial and error - honesty with self and a desire to be truly healed and satisfied in the LORD to get to this Glorious place of freedom--- but it is the only Way you or I or anybody on this earth can find true peace and delight and complete satisfaction.
Because it's of God.
I have learned to not take personal other people's offences.
Why? How?
Because what you are going through doesn't really have anything to do with me.
How? By realizing that people live in thier own realities.... people make judgements based on what they believe.
But just because you believe something doesn't make it true.
There is one truth. Love.
I was thinking earlier before I decided to address this topic....
Men, women, and lust.
I only wish men would really believe the Bible when it comes to these issues.
I have been given a revelation....
but I don't think it would be appropriate to type here... unless the LORD wills.
The Bible speaks of one man and one woman - forever.
It's all anybody really wants.... so why don't they appreciate it then?
It isn't external things that make marriages happy--- it is the internal workings of love, compassion, empathy, communication, desire to be helpful, desire to be appreciated....
I think good marriages are work. But work is good.
It gives us a purpose. Right?
And it also gives us a reward.
If you don't work at your relationship, maintaing the good things fixing the problems and changing things for the better sometimes, how can you expect to be happy where you're at?
I appreciate good marriages, loving people, and pure families.
It blesses me real good!
And there is nothing like it.....~

Through this new phase of God's "70" decade, we can expect to have leadership groups to begin to administer the judgment God has developed for His order. God is a God of order. God's creation is made to "groan" for His plan.In that process of "groaning" Israel may indeed enter a season of "warring" with God's plan, but it will be their ability to incisively act upon God's plan to save their nation and ours! Israel will increase, and we would do well to increase Heaven's odd for our favor by favoring the apple of His eye. Keep your eyes on Israel in the next 10 Months, because God will uphold His chosen.We must pray for the Peace of Jerusalem! However, you will soon note that it is not "peace at any price!" The Prince of Persia will soon know the Hosts of Heaven reside upon the side of His own. Israel is about to be on the increase. God wants this earth to be restored, beginning before He put man on it.If we will only submit and yearn for God's perfect will, then it will head off the enemy taking us another 40 years of trials and testing around the "Wilderness Mountains." During the "Ayin" breakout point, we must not be looking backwards, but forwards into the "10" years ahead! We must embrace this new "10" anointing as our "double grace" gifts of two times five or twice the amount of God's grace to breakout from the patterns of our past failures. I got to thinking again today... and when I think about certain people that I know and love, I see them trying to live Godly lives. Yet I truly think - and what I see- is that they are striving and trying to fulfill God's plans - but they are missing His plans (truly).
What I mean is... sometimes we try to find God's will by doing what we think we should be doing. It may seem right, it may sound right, it may feel right it may even look right, but if you didn't get the A-OK from God, then you will never know if that is where you should truly be. We need to learn to hear from the LORD for ourselves- we don't always need to be spoon-fed, or told what to do. We need to learn to seek the LORD, hear from Him and Obey Him. I believe this is what HE desires - and it isn't a worthless thing to do. It is probably the BEST thing you can do!
I see some people trying to fit in to a mold, or trying to learn something they think they need to learn, in order to live or work unto the Lord or to do His will. The Bible says we need no man to teach us- and I think, when I think about young people in today's society that are all off to colleges trying to get an education, what are they missing? You fill in the blank.
I know this might blow some of y'all's minds, but pleasing God, doing His will, and living for Him doesn't take all that.
I know it is easy to get confused, or to get sidetracked by what everybody else is doing. And some people think they are no different than anybody else. But that is what Jesus calls the wide and broad way. (Doing what you think you should do , because everybody else is doing it-)
And we ARE all different- we all have our own unique calling and plan and purpose from the LORD and inHis Kingdom. We all have our own gifts and talents that He gave us to use for His glory.
We are not supposed to be carried away by the cares of this life, or, "the cares of life".
God knows what we need... and, honestly, it isn't a brand new 30, 000 dollar car, a huge 5 bedroom house, tons of clothes... etc, etc. Sure, those things might be nice, but the Word of God says "better is the little that the righteous man has, than the much revenue of the wicked" (Proverbs).
I don't want to condemn people, and I'm not - but what I would like to show you all is what really matters....
relationships.
hearts.
love.
marriages.
familes.
children.
helping God's people.
Helping people into the Kingdom of OUR King!
freedom.
ministry....things that bring people together in the love ofGod.

money, clothes, social status, cars- those belong to the world.. aka "the pride of life".

If you look deeper at what your inner motives are, you will see that there is a need.
There is a need in all of us. We all want love, we all want attention, we all want to be appreciated, recognized, unique, security- but these things can only be sure if they are in and from the Lord thy God.
Even the deep things of the soul can only be truly and I mean truly satisfied in God.
We need to stop trying to do things our own way, understand things our own way, believe things our own way and live for God when we want to - because it ain't gonna work that way!
God isn't a part-time God! He is an Everlasting God, and He is watching to see who will stay faithful, who will sacrifice their will for His, who will give up their wants and desires for what is truly good, and who will serve Him even when they don't feel like going through the fire, even when it doesn't seem like they will ever make it through. But going through the fire is the only way a rock of coal becomes a diamond. And only through the fire can gold and silver be tried until they are pure,Without the dross-
This is where the true faith is found- this is where true colors are shown, and found. He wants a people that will love Him with all their mind, heart, soul and strength-
and true hearts are made, for His Glory. He longs to be glorified in us. He loves us this much!

A while back, right before the Lord took me through one of the hardest trials of my life, I read an anonymous quote and heard it a few times (Its cool how God does that when He wants you to really hear Him and remember a wOrd!) and What it said is this:
~To have what others do not have, you will have to do what others will not do~
Basically along those lines....
God doesn't want a bunch of whimpy Christians.... and He doesn't want a bunch of lying hypocrites, either- people who say they are Christians, but really aren't. Those are the worst kind.
I think you don't even have to tell someone "I'm a Christian", because if the Love of God through Christ lives in you, it will show. People will know... and it won't be about you- it will be about Him, His Love and sharing that love with others .... God glories in His love and in His people of love!
I think we need to slow down and enjoy life for what it is. We need to stop racing around trying to find something we already have. Stop trying to keep up with others or with the world. We are not in essence racing others, (like Apostle Paul preaches about the race.. and the prize) but I think we are racing our selves, I think.
I know that sounds "funny" - but, were not here to "beat" anybody... at least I'm not. I don't want to be the only winner with a bunch of losers!
Ha!
I want to be a winner with a bunch of other winners!
Because that is what we are- when we chose Christ, we chose Victory.
When we chose to Accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we chose to leave off sinfulness, and take up Righteousness, and not of ourselves, but of God.
We look to Him,and He shows us the True Way~ the Right Way. (like the book store-wink wink to my locals!)
God does not want to see a world of sin, and He doesn't want us to even look for sin in the world- because that is judgement of others. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
and We are all in this world together.
He (God the Father) sent Jesus so that we might live withOUT sin, and LOVE one another AS JESUS LOVED US!
He loved us purely.
He believed in the best in people- He told the truth to those who thought they were but weren't, and He gave His life so that we would know God.
We need to recognize the truth in our own lives.
I thought I had to stand on a platform to preach- but here I am.
I thought so many things that - in my own mental conception should have been a different way- but God has shown me that our own minds can be easily glozed-over.... and we can think things are supposed to be some big show-type of event.
But that is a lie and a deception from hell.
Life is not what society has tried to make it.
Let us not be decieved, friends.
Let us get back to the truth, and live truthfully and truly in the truth. That is God's!

O, the Depths, the Heights andthe LORD in it ALL!

What are we supposed to do with sin? What are we supposed to do with sin in our lives? We are supposed to turn from it, be cleansed from it, and do it no longer.
I think some times people, if they do not kno wthe fullness of God's Mercy and grace, hesitate to trust in a Merciful and Righteous God. I think maybe it's because they haven't recieved the fullness of the understanding of His great love for us. A love that we cannot fathom or fully understand....
I have sought the Lord and God on such things. He showed me once, that we humans are mortal creatures... He lives forever, but our lives on earth here are short in comparison to His. He is everlasting... we are like a breath to Him. I pondered this a few years ago... and He also showed me that is one of the reasons He is so merciful. He knows that we are so fragile... so weak... and He doesn't expect or want us to live in pain, or fear, or unhappy, or unforgiven, or with out grace. That is why He is called God the Father. And that is why He is known as a God of mercy and grace.
If we really and truly seek Him... we will find Him.

We can't try to understand Him our way or in our own mind or understanding. We can try... but until we let Him show us who He is, we will never fully know Him.
I have had quite a few heartaches and many many lonely times in my life... but I see now that it was the LORD's way of drawing me to a place where I could talk to Him, get to know Him for who He is, get to know myself a little better... with Him. When I look back to the Bible I read in it stories of men and women of God and you know what, not one of them failed or went through something seemingly unbearable and sometimes unreal. Not one!
But in all their trials, heartaches, and glories they were living for the LORD Almighty.
And it is all about Him.
I think God is so Wonderful and such and Awesome God... and I am thankful, truly thankful to be on this journey with so many others who are on the Way with me!
Sometimes I wish there were something I could say or pray for people to help them or minister to them... but I do not know what I could say... only that I know God exists, HE is greater than we could ever dream or imagine and if you truly want to find Him, He is there!

I don't know howI got into all this... what I originally felt like I needed to write about was living a pure life. Not trying to make things right yourself... but surrendering EVERYTHING to God when we mess up and having as the Bible calls it a Most Holy Faith inGod... He is willing and more than able.

Happy New Year everbody~
The New Year revival was great, and I think everybody was blessed by the LORD. The first night the LORD gave us a Word about getting our houses flipped. Like when people buy houses, gut 'em out, clean 'em up and make them new again... Bro. Gerald Crabb preached to us on gettin' our houses flipped... let me tell ya, I think a few of us needed it!!!
Then the nest (came upon this typo editing.. i think i will keep it! God is awesome!;) night we had a preacher talk to us about the difference between being a chicken, and being an eagle. See... chickens- they can't fly, the cluck around the farm pens.... they make a lot of noise.... but the eagle~ the eagle is a representation of strength and glory to the Lord. We are called to be eagles... not chickens. You all shoulda heard the Word! It was a Blessing!
New Year's Eve the pastor of the church house's faveourite preacher ;) Brother Batchelor from Texas talked to us and preached about "Modernizing the Church".
We can't live in a shack forever... the world is gonna keep on moving, and for us to reach the world, we may have to change a few things. The message should never change, see, God never changes.... but we change.. so let it be to the Glory if God!

Faith or Fear?

Do you walk by faith or by fear?

Does your faith offend people. Of course it does!
Jesus told us that the world will hate us. Because we are not of this world!
Jesus offended people.... why does faith in God offend people?
Because -
because they have sin.
Because they don't want to repent- because they have pride. Because they have never really put thieir faith and trust in God. Maybe they don't really know Him?
Some people honor other people's pride more than they honor the Truth.
Hopefully they will see the Truth, and change for the Good!
"for we can do nothing against the truth, only for it."
and
"Whatever is not of faith is sin".
and
"faith works by love..."
"For if I have faith that can move mountains, but have not love I am nothing. "
I Love!
I LOVE love- I love the LORD. I Love His commandments, and I love His People!

I would prophecy to you in the name of Jesus Christ that He is for you and not against you. He knows what you have gone through, and He knows where He is about to take you. He wants you to know today that out of the bad will come the good. And, out of that which is weak will come the strength. Out of the trouble that has come into your life God Himself will make a judgment in the heavenlies and overturn Satan's ruling. The glory of His majesty will be found as a canopy over you. The Lord says to you today, do not be disheartened, do not be discouraged, My children. Only believe, rise up in faith; rise up to your kingdom position; rise up to a new level of faith. Rise up, I say, and know that I am for you. I am leading you and guiding you into the fullness of your destiny, and I will be with you on this journey until the very end of the age. Your destiny has already been sealed; it has already been written and it shall come to pass if you will only believe. Abide in Me, walk with Me, stay with Me through the storms of life, and the greatness of the kingdom shall be your gift. The Spirit of the Lord says; Do not fret over the transitions and changes that I have allowed in your life. Most of the things that have been removed; whether people, familiar situations or circumstances, would have obstructed you from reaching the ultimate goal or position that I Am bringing you to. Some familiarities would have been an obstacle, while others would have been a deterrent to keep you from running unhindered. Others would have caused you to be snared by the enemy of your soul and stopped completely. Let them go! These obstructions in your life have hindered you from the clarity of great revelation. These revelations are necessary in order for these times of transition. These changes have all been about bringing My people up to a higher level, changing how you see and what you see as being genuine and real. Now you must release the load of weights that have caused your run to become sluggish and tiresome to you. Your flight will be glorious, as you and I, shake from you all that would detain you from reaching your proper place and position in Me. I have already spoken to you that the way would be narrow and not many will choose that way. The way is made so that your eyes should only look forward and stay focused on Me and all that is vital to the Kingdom and its advancement. This narrow, constricted passageway will lead you to the wide open spaces of living in the realms of My Spirit. My Holy Spirit has been directing your course, you may have struggled on this course, yet you did not fight against Holy Spirit. Because you chose to yield to Holy Spirit, you will reach your destination with more power, more glory, more anointing, more wisdom and more understanding of Me and My ways. You have now entered into a new position and place of authority. because of your endurance during times of transition. New keys are now placed in your hands for the opening of doors that you thought was locked to you. You will enter boldly now without fear or shame. You will walk into your promised territory, holding your head high, for you have kept the faith and stayed true to Me and My Word. Your focus remained on Me and the Kingdom, even through the darkest times of change. For your faithfulness you will abound with blessings and rewards. You were not lead astray by the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, or the pride of life. These three have slain many strong men of faith, yet, your love for Me remained strong. I Am well pleased with you, My children. Keep moving on the path of holiness and your destination will always be glorious! Stay focused and My light will forever brighten your steps into the right position of holiness.

I have a confession...
I can't wait 'til the day that I'm married and can say to my husband, "Honey, let's have sex!"

I mean, that's what husbands are for, right?
Not that I walk around in lust or carnally minded all the time, but it is something that God created for us people to have and enjoy and reap from-right?
Think about it.... all humans are created with sexual capacaties.
Why is that???
It is something we are born with--- like--- human nature. Just like, eating, or drinking, or pooping ....
:)

BUT - I KNOW that there is a time and a place for everything.
When you have to go to the bathroom, you don't just drop your pants and poop on the floor in Wal-Mart. When you feel the urge to go you don't poop your pants in the car, do you??
(I really really hope not!!!)
And when your hungry, you don't just pick leaves off trees and eat them, or make a salad out of grass from your yard... and you can't eat your dishes and be satisfied.
SO....
I think sex and food and all the wonderful parts of human nature were and are created for God's glory and our GOOD.

the Bible says when God created man (AND WOMAN) that they were "GOOD".
The Word of God is something that does not change.
I really don't hink God created us as sexual beings to punish us or restrain us in some weird controlling way. I truly believe in moderation and temperance, but it is always something that we humans have to live with.
It's a spiritual war, remember?
But thank GOODNESS we are on the WINNING Team. WE have already WON the battle... we just have to walk in our victory!

I also think that men who use thier wives as scapegoats or think that women are less than men maybe don't think very highly, or let me say, good, of themselves. God created man and woman to be one. There is order, but one cannot be one without the other.
I believe in mutual respect, and mutual love.
And I believe husbands and wives should enjoy what God created them for.

I have been thinking about envy for a little while.
Does it ever seem like when you reach a place in your life where you are happy or blessed and someone you know comes along and "seems" happy for you, but you can tell deep down inside that thier jealous, or hurting or feel like they wish they had what you have?
That is called envy.
I have dealt witht this before- when something happens in (my) life and people who I feel like I can trust turn around and (I think) are envious deep down. And where does it come from?
I believe it comes from a few reasons:
I think first of all some people don't realize what they have. They are always looking at what other people have, making comparisons, trying to make what they have seem better or worse than what someone else has because they are afraid of dealing with other people's possible jealousy.
Then I think people forget to appreciate what they have. Maybe they are spoiled and get everything they want. Or maybe they never got what they want and felt deprived- like they never had what others had.
But I think we as people should be ultimatley only need Jesus and the love of God to be fulfilled, full, whole.
THEN, the last thing, which I got from the LORD last night while I was praying about it, is, envy, NV.

People get envious when they see others walking in victory.
I don't want to digress into some long letter about why, but if they people who are envios really want to be happy and have a fulfilling life, then they (and sometimes WE) - need to turn away from the public eye and look at ourselves in the mirror and see what kinds of changes we can make to have a better life, and turn to God and ask Him to help us- let me tell you, without Him, we can do nothing!!! (Yet He loves us so much and it is His desire to lift us, help us, cleanse us, lead us through to victoryand glory!)

Living a life of Victory isn't something that just happens
It is Work. It is a PROCESS.
It takes T-I-M-E.
It takes godly virtues that we have to practice, like faith, patience, love, trust, truth; So on and so forth.
It also takes a willing heart. An obedient heart. A faithful heart.

Sometimes you have to be willing to be broken. You might have to be willing to lose. You might have to be willing to go where you've never gone before.
But God always mends what he breaks. He will make you victorious through His Son, and through the blood He shed on the cross for us. Jesus said that the enemy comes to teal kill and destroy- but that He (Jesus) cames that we might have life and have it more ABUNDANTLY.
He will be with you on the journey that He wants to take you on~ and it will be better than what you have ever hoped or believed for!
What an AWESOME GOD, we have! Praise Him and Give Him aLL the GLORY! He is worthy!

'Xcuse me while I vent...

I got pulled over about three weeks ago for having a headlight out, but the officer also mentioned that when he dove by me I was not wearing my seat belt.
It was late, and I was in a neighborhood and hadn't yet gotten on or even near the main road yet. And when I passed the police car I did put on my seat belt, like, right then.

But about a block down the road I saw him turn around and he was right behind me and he turned on his lights and pulled me over.
I pulled into a gas station and he came up to my window with flashlight and everything.
I was also getting really sick, I had almost lost my voice (I actually went to the dr. two days later and had to get a powerful shot to kick the sickness, whatever it was).
And anyways, the police man was like, interrogating me.
I told him I felt like he was interrogating me, he was literally making me upset.
I told him in my defence of not having my seatbelt on that I was still in the neighborhood, and that I always wear my seatbelt, and that if and when I might ever not have one on and I do see a cop, I put it on right then and there. (these things are the TRUTH!)
He let me go for the headlight but gave me a $101 ticket for no seat belt-
And he was very... abrasive. I told him that there are criminals he should be trying to find, instead he was interrogating me for not wearing my seatbelt!

It made me think awhile after, actually when I had met Mario Mopar I talked to him about it or maybe thought about it and I thought this:
I always thought "being corrupt" meant like, if a cop who swears to be a good citizen and be a good patrol like, if a cop were to keep the drugs he confiscates or if he speeds or stuff like that, that that would be corrupt.
But now I think its corrupt for what I have seen.
Cops interrogating the (not innocent, maybe less innocent?) than the real reason a community needs police.
Ok, so theres drug dealers, drug addicts, murderers, theives out there. All these crimes are related. Yet, for some reason police seem to let them slide by, and instead ask a million questions to some girl who just wanted to go home.

Maybe I am still mad that I have to pay a ticket when I always do wear my seatbelt.
But I also think maybe people need to get real.
Deal with the things that need to be dealt with.
Ya think???

The LORD recently let me walk through something that really really humbled me. He does that sometimes, I think, so that I don't forget that we are all human, and that we are all His.
Sometimes I was judging people. Sometimes I was feeling high and mighty. But He is Faithful in so many ways.
He is so intimate. And He is so Wise. He is also the Most Loving One I have ever experienced in my Life.
O, How I love You, LORD! You are more than a Father to me; You are my Friend, my Saviour, my Trusted Companion, My Confidant, My Teacher.
I love You, Lord. ~

I just read my post... and I also just read postsecret. (One of the blogs I follow- I recommend checking it out, just for thought) I really get inspired when people get free, even if its just by sending in postcards of "secrets" that they keep.

It made me also think... who are we hiding from? And why do we hide?

We hide from each other- because we judge each other- we condemn each other. We criticize each other and we hurt each other.

But I don't wanna hide anymore- and I don't wanna judge or condemn or criticize or hurt people anymore!

I'm over trying to be perfect for people- we are not here to please each other anyway!

We are here to please God!

And I am not your judge anyway- and your not mine!

God is the judge- Jesus said the Father judges no one- but has left all judgement to the Son- but ya know what else he said from His very lips was "judge no one-lest ye be judged, condemn no one, or you will be condemned- for how you judge you will be judged..."

You know, if we could just get real with ourselves and not be afraid of what other people think... I think we'd be much better off, maybe even happy !

Some people live thier lives in so much fear of what others think it stops them from living thier lives!!! Theyre afraid of others judgments!

How would u feel if you found out you were making someone feel like they were too afraid to do something or be what they want to be because they didnt want you to judge them!!??

Proverbs 29:25

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD will be kept safe.

Some people would rather make other people happy and get "praise from men" rather than take a stand and make God happy and forget what men think.

You know what? At the end, the only one that's gonna be there with you is God. The Lord. Those people that praise you and butter you up and flatter you and make you feel like something special are not gonna be there for you. Nope. I think the "Enemy" sends people just like that into our lives to puff us up- and we get blinded from the truth by our own ego- or by impressing other people and thinking we're something were not!

It's one of the oldest tricks satan has used.

My pastor often says there's nothing good in us. I think there is good in us, but that it comes from God.

I tend to think a lot differently that most preachers I hear - but thats ok, I understand that maybe they are on another level than me. I do not lift myself up- we all have our place. No body is perfect in and of ourselves! That is for sure!

But we have the Lord.

The other thing I want to remind people is that we are going to mess up. We can try to pretend like we're perfect, or like everytime we sin it's ok because the blood of Jesus covers us- and it does- if we repent. But we will not walk through this life sinless. No one is sinless except Jesus. He is our perfect example. If we were sinless, we would not have needed Jesus. I also get the feeling sometimes that people think once saved always saved. I think yes,once saved always saved - but how saved do you want to be? How much life do you want to live? I don't think we should be messing up all the time and asking for Jesus when we are capable of being good. We need to desire righteousness- the Word says the heart of man is desperatly wicked- so why don't you pray for a clean heart?

God can make you clean.

I am just here to tell you that.

Not teaching you anything.

Just giving you a message.

God is more than an idea.

Love is more than a feeling.

Life is more than what we see.

OR think.

I said once, the only limits you have are the ones you place on yourself.

People are capable of AMAZING things!

I believe we are all an expression of the Creator- and do you ever think - we are here at the same time. I'm not here sitting with william shakespear, and I don't live in Germany. No. I'm right here- right now.

My soul is so moved right now...... I wish people would realize.... what we hav been given. I wish people would just give in and love- and trust and believe in love.

Hi everybody! How are y'all? Good I hope :)
I went to church this morning, and it was very good. My great pastor preached on 1 Corinthians 15:51-58. But one part (that popped out at him) also pops out to me. Verses 55 & 56:
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

I read this - yet I think on Jesus. If we live according to His Way- (He is THE WAY) - then the law is love.
See, my pastor preached on death. And my pastor is an awesome preacher, I love him to pieces. But I was about ready to preach today myself!
My pastor saidwhenhe was preaching- do we have power to resist sin? Can we resisit sin in our flesh- on the earth.
He looked at me.
I spoke and said-we can if we have the Anointing.
He asked me if I had the anointing.
I said yes.
He then asked me if I had ever sinned under the anointing-
I didn't speak because I know my pastor well enough to know that he always goes back to that we all need a Saviour. (trust me, I know this about the man! I'm pretty sure that is where he was going!)
But during the service I kept thinking as he was preaching...
about covetness, about envy (never being satisfied with our blessings or maybe not even recognizing how blessed we are!) and lust and adultery.
And all I kept thinking was how if people were grateful for the blessings they have.... they wouldn't want ... and if people were not afraid or jealous or faithful, they wouldn't be envious. And if men and women would love thier husbands and wives and see the ministry in thier marriages, and realize that God gave them to them for them (can ya catch that?) then they would always love and be loved and thier marriages would be so fulfilling they wouldn't lust or commit adultery ......
it just makes sense to me.
People always preaching but are they praying?
We want a difference but can we make a difference?
We were raised to be self- gratifying. W are raised self- centered by our society but that isn't a good way to be.
At least I don't think so.
I am grateful for what I have been given, and I'm not saying my pastor or anybody I know is anyof these ways, but I am just like everybody and I know that we all have our own walk with the Lord and we all have growing to do.
It doesn't matter how old you are or how much you've lived or how long you go to church.
I heard Joyce Meyer the other night on tv say how many years she and her husband went to church in anger and would put on a happy face as soon as they got on the premisis to make it seem like everything was a-ok, but in the truth they were always fighting at home.
I talked to my grandpa today and he and my grandma have been going to church for the past year, and he told me how he was raised in a church where he didn't really get taught the Word or God and how nobody ever taught him how to read the Word and understand it but that now he goes to a church where the pastor breaks down the meaning and teaches it to him so he can recieve it.
So, it just goes to show you that it doesn't matter how old you are or how long you go to church or what position you are in church we all have growing to do and we all truly need the Lord, and each other.
I love you all so very veyr much, and from the least to the greatest to the known and the unknown I hope with all my heart that through my writing I can inspire and encourage and comfort someone- even if it's just one!
Because I know sometimes it's hard to talk to people about what goes on inside us, sometimes we don't even understand- but we have to learn to trust- to trust the Lord and His love for us- He truly does love us. And we have to somehow learn to trust ourselves- like we have to learn to respect ourselves, and we have to learn to respect others. It's all part of life....
this gift we have been given by God!
What a gift it is!
I praise Him for it!

Overcome and Find the Way!

I have been thinking about being an overcomer. I have been thinking about what it means to have overcome some things in my life. And how I have felt about it (at the time of victory), how I feel about it when I talk to others, and how I feel about overcoming obstacles in my life - like, in the Big Picture.
I think some people overcome a thing and stop right there. I think they think it's enough to have overcome something, or that maybe it was just like a problem that needed to be solved. Like quitting smoking- or quitting drugs - or overcoming being overweight. I think we, in our struggles, become blinded by the real purpose of why we need to overcome the obstacle (whether its addiction, sin, or self)- and when we overcome, we think it's over, and we stop right there.
But I want to let you know today that the end of one thing is just the beginning of another!
Like they say, "when God closes one door, He opens another!
There was and is a reason "why" we need to overcome certain "obstacles" in our lives. Not just to be sober or thin, or clear-minded, or clean.

The real reason we overcome is because God has a Purpose and Plan for your life.
He cannot take you where He wants you in the way you're in. So He has to wait on you to clean up your act. If that means get clean from drugs or alchohol, or losing 150 pounds, or getting an education, or what. You fill inthe blank.

See, it doesn't stop at the point when you give up the addiction and gain the victory over it in your life - no, that is only the beginning. That is when God can show you that He has a better life for you. That He has a specific plan for your life, that He thought of before you were even formed in your mother's womb!
Sometimes we get so wrapped up in sin or addictions or cares of this life or our own selfishness and neediness that we almost completely forget that GOD created each and everyone of us with a specific plan and purpose for HIS unique design!
We need to realize that overcoming drugs or alchohol or getting out of a bad relationship is not the end in and of itself- it is the beginning of your journey~ it is a step in the right direction, it is ride you've been waiting for, my friends!

~ Don't get all puffed up when you think you have accomplished a big thing by getting off drugs or staying sexually pure or saving your money or losing the weight - yes, getting free from all that is GREAT! Let me not take your joy by anymeans - but if we try to make ourselves seem big by what we used to do or used to "be" - that is "glorying in our shame". We shall not glory in our shame. There are probably other people who have done worse things and overcome them or people who never even thought about doing the stuf some of us have done who are successful in thier lives and just thankful for not even having been through the horrors of drugs or abuse or sexual impurities - so let's not be proud in who we think we are or were. That is not wise.

We should not even want to be associated with what we used to do or be or how we used to think - I mean, we're trying to stay as far away from being those ways as possible, right???

So, then, we need to leave those things which are behind us IN THE PAST and press on towards the HIGH CALLING of our LORD JESUS CHRIST!

The Prize is INCOMPARABLE to what we can think dream or imagine! The Bible says so!!!
So we should be ever so glad to be free from our sin, we should stand firm on our deliverance, our "overcoming" obstacles - sin, addiction, selfishness- and then we should SEEK GOD with all of our hearts. And have Him help us find our Way!
Because there's a reason we have overcome!
Let's find our purposes in Him and fulfill them, shall we?? :)

story~
I was at Dunkin Donuts last night by my lonesome, I was kindof in distress thinkin' maybe if I went there to chill out I would feel better. I was trying to write one of my friends an email but no words were coming to me, I actually wrote one then deleted it because it didn't make much good sense in my sight. So, all the while here was an old man sitting across a table away from me and in the moments of my near dispair I would look up and look his way- and he was an older man older than older but not quite old- he had a full white beard, well groomed but not wiry and perfectly round like some- it was softer looking and some parts of the sides turned out ward instead of around.... he had white hair on his head but the very top was bald... and I knew he had seen me and was probably wondering what I was doing- and I was reaching certain emotional places where I search for something more--- like David when he says his eyes fail, my eyes were failing- as I was searching for my God... looking here and there- it wasn't so dramatic I was trying to keep it together in up in DD' - but I was having a bit of a moment... so I closed my yahoo email and something on the next screen said some names of people who I know are bold and I looked at the old man again and by now we had made eye contact one or twice and so he was looking down at his magazine in front of him and I finally just said, "hey, What's your name?"

he looked up..
"What's your name?" I said again
"Mario- what's your's?"
"Ashleigh"
"OH, Ashleigh! " Smile. Warm, gentle, sweet.
I searched my soul and kept trying to search for the Lord thinking maybe this guy was sent by God to speak to me of (Him) the Lord. So... I asked him if he believed in God.
"Of course..." he said. I could see in his eyes when he said that like he thought of God in his life- like in a second. (yet eternally)
I tried to see if I could think of what to say about my delimma or what could I ask advice on or how can I get the answer I'm looking for from him...
after some short talk and I was becoming less feeling like I needed to ask him of anything regarding my personal life, (because you never know when you will meet an angel on the streets)
I asked him what he was looking at and he had already told me he was down here from up north for a car auction, andthen he told me he was looking at a car magazine. not autotrader (i dont think)
So, we talked about hot rods and cars and he told me a story about some kid that goes to his shop for his subaru and how the kid thinks his sub is great (the old guy deals mostly with cudas and Dodges and Pontiacs from the 60's and 70's - big fast cars) and then I started to leave and he was still telling me the story, and as I had got up to go and I was standing near his table listening to him finish and he really wanted to show me the trucks that one of the guys that goes to his shop likes (a friend of the kid with the Subaru) ~ we spent like 15 minutes looking at old hot rod cars, bonding over colors and prices andsuch things. simple, yes. but who knows...

Maybe I needed that connection, to remember that I am not alone. Maybe I needed that older guy, Mario, to be there at that very time , so that he and I could talk about Mustangs and cudas and 190, 000 dollar cars and if they're worth it or not, to keep my mind free ~

Is sin going to keep you from loving someone? Are we another's judge? I feel like we as people judge other people's sins and stop loving them, or stay far from them, becaus what they do is "wrong". But if it were family, it would be different. If it were someone of high rank, we would pray for them.
I'm speaking some of how I am - and some of how I've been treated. But now I realize now I see- -none of us is perfect. Why do we not love one another, like the LORD has told us to?

I want to clarify somethings I posted last time I was online. I don't condone drinking, smoking and I'm not promoting Mercedes. But what I want to point out is that so many church goers that claim to be Christian or righteous or perfect have thier own problems that they hide or deny or cover up - and they point to others' sins without mercy, without compassion, without pity or understanding.
The world will never change unless we change. The world will never be a better place unless we make it a better place. We will never get along and love one another unless we take a step towards it.
I'm just grateful for His mercy and His grace and His forgiveness for me that covers my sins. I try to share that love with others. I am not perfect by far except that the love of God through Jesus Christ lives in me. That is something I am thankful and very grateful about.
Sometimes we have to let ourselves be saved. The Lord spoke to me about this a while back.... there used to be a popular song by Hillsong United called "Hosanna", which means "Save us on high"! Like, Save us now Lord!! Like an emergency.... likea desperate cry for salvation.
So, I used to listen to this song and sing it and pray and finally the Lord asked me, "Will you be saved?"
I was like, "What, Lord?"
"Will you be saved?"
Will I be saved? I guess I had not thought of it like that before... but I had been so stubborn, so lost, so abandoned that I was almost like the children of Israel trying to find thier way out of the wilderness.
Sometimes He wants to save us... I think I had (have) been trying to save myself.
It isn't always as hard as it seems, or as we're used to it being.
I had to let go and let God. I had to learn to trust Him. And Believe.
He is always Faithful, no matter what.
It would be like trying to save a drowning child who kept flailing around and wouldn't let you grasp them.... they have to surrender and trust you, that you will bring them safely back to shore, where thay can breathe and calm down.
I also have realized that sometimes my desire to help others can become a stumbling block to my own life. It is called co-dependancy.
I never understood what exactly that word meant. But now I do. It means if I care more about someone else's life issues more than I care about my own life, it becomes a trap to me..... their comes a time when people need to fix thier own life problems. Or at least make a diligent effort. I mean , we can't do it all alone, but we can't just sit in the mud forever either.
We gotta get up and clean up and walk the walk.... not just talk the talk.
I have to go now, but I hope this blesses my dear sweet friends.

Let Truth be the Judge

I go to church. I have attended church on a fairly regular basis for about 5 years now. Not always the same church, but churches from the Protestant based "religion". I don't want to stop going to church. I think church has a very important place in society. But what I do want to stop is judgments. False accusations. False assumptions. Hatred. Pride. "Holier - than- thou" ness.
People in church will jump all over someone who for example smokes cigarettes, or drinks one glass of wine a week, or drives a mercedes benz. But they don't realize, they're are other seemingly less offensive bad behaviors or what I can call "bad habits" aka "addictions" that are hidden under cover that people don't even recognize or consider being a bad habit or addiction.
Let me throw one out there. How about tv? How much time do you sit in front of the television set? I hardly ever even watch tv. Not just because I don't get many channels. I think it's a waste of time and energy(in more than one form).
Ok, what about spending money? or over spending. I think in technical Biblical terms it could be called greed. Lust for more bigger better newer. Never satisfied with what you have.
I think people need to find something to do with their lives. Not just earning a living (work).
We are called to be ministers. Helpers. Lovers. (in a sense of loving people, not sexual) and yes also married. I do believe marriage is a ministry and I think I see people who do not minister to thier spouses enough.
It bothers me mostly because I see it in church more than anywhere else.
The Bible does also say sin is seeing something you should do (something good) and not doing it.
Like, if you see a lady or an old man in line in front of you and they are three dollars short on thier bill and you have five dollars and more enough for your own groceries, I think you are supposed to give it to them.
We (as people) need to quit being so stinkin' stingy and selfish and helpless and cruel.
Judging people is a terrible thing to do, to experience, and to witness.
It can make or break somebody.
Your judgments of someone can determine the outcome of thier life.
Can you dig to find gold?
Can you dig to find something good? Rubies? Sapphires? Emeralds? Diamonds?
What we see in people is dependant upon us. Sometimes we have to seek a little farther, or search a little deeper or keep looking until we find that special gift we have been looking for.
And I think we should not rob someone of thier gift, but clean it, polish it, show them it's value, and give it back to them and let it shine!
Why don't people love each other more?
Why are people so quick to judge and criticize? Why don't people pray for each other more? For thier good? For what they really need?
Are we afraid of not having? Are we envious? Why should we be? Haven't we been blessed?
Do we not love to be blessed? So we should also love it when our friends and neighbors and enemies be blessed as well.
I am praying for you all. Be Blessed! (And be a blessing !!!)

What are we doing to be more like Christ?
What am I doing to be more like Christ? To be more honest, more patient, more loving, more faithfully believing?
I am trying~ I am working on it~ working it out~ pressing through~ seeing complete victory~
Praying for more~ desiring truth, love, depth, intimacy~Hope~
Settling down but not letting go~ Being calm yet still involved, not forgotten, not forgetting~ loving and letting myself be loved~ believeing in love~ sometimes unseen but always felt~ sometimes a mystery but in time revealt~ love is real and it is a big deal! it takes time~ it takes committment, patience faith and acceptence~ sometimes we don't get what we want all the time~ but that doesn't mean that it isn't worth loving, or being loved by the one ***
The stars of Orion are up in the sky~ The warrior with the bow and arrow~ reminding me of an arrow through the heart~ He caught me ~ with His love~ sometimes I try to love Him ~ and I do~ but He found me ~ when I was blue. And He made my dream my loves and my hopes come true. ~ Sometimes we , sometimes I, need to stop looking for love and find and notice and see the love I already have~inside. what is revere? to stand in awe of... to let be what is. to regard with truth. worship. faith. trust.
We show reverence to God because He is Sovereign. What does it mean, He is Sovereign?
He can do whatever pleases him.
And He does! :)
He is Holy.
He is Pure.
He is Good.

I want to praise the LORD. I want to live with more Joy in Him. I want to express my joy for Him. Free~ Sometimes I feel like I have been too hurt to praise, or too hurt to believe that my life can actually be more than what it has been. But I know beyond my own knowledge that He (the Lover of my Soul) Loves me more than I can imagine. And He wants greater things for me than what I could ask Him for. He loves me that much. Sometimes I find, that I have to shake myself. I have to make myself do things to breakthrough to where He wants me. Sometimes that means praising Him when I don't feel like it... sometimes it means stopping whatever I am doing and praying. Sometimes it has even been me praying that He would draw me to pray... I have been so distracted at times. But He IS Faithful. He knows when I want to come to Him, and He knows that sometimes I need an extra tug to get me moving. He knows what I need.... sometimes I just need to be more attentive and more obedient - Listen.
For every valley there is a mountain. Life is Amazing.
Wait on the LORD and He shall strengthen thine heart- Wait I say, on the LORD. (Psalms)
