connections

I am living with a lady, that I met at church- in fact I live with her and her family. She's a nice lady, shorter than me, but has a fiery personality, and I think that's one of the reasons I like her. We've started having deep conversations... like those over coffee, about lifetime trials and personal testimonies and the love of God, through Jesus. And one thing we had in common I noticed during our confession sessions - is she has issues with her past. Especially with certain people from her past. Even people that are nolonger living.
Now- I've had to pray for myself about some issues in my own life, and walk with the Lord. Because He (Jesus) tells us to forgive our enemies. To forgive anyone and everyone of the grievances/trespasses AND sins - up to 77x7 times! ( I am not gonna count that for you!) In 1st Corinthians 13, the "Love Chapter", it says love keeps no record of wrongs. I understand that to mean, "love forgives"- to the point of forgetting. Why waste life huffing and puffing -- I think at that point it becomes YOUR problem, the Bible says be angry and sin not- not forgiving is a sin unto the self.
So, back to the lady-- I noticed through my relationship with her, that some people connect to others through sorrow, sin or sadness. Because those things have been prevalent in thier lives,it is the only way they know how to "connect" to others. I think it must be hard for people who are stuck in a victim mentality to connect to other's in a healthy way- The Way.
So, I still have the responsibility, now, I feel, to talk to her about this, b/c in Ezekiel-the prophet says if we see Israel sin and do not tell them, we have their blood on our hands. If we rebuke them and they hear it- we save them and they are saved. I think maybe God put me here for this reason- one out of many... anyways! Pray for my friend, her heart, her salvation, and her soul. God loves her- so do I.
Godbless and Praise the L-RD!

Try-Again.
He died for us, we die for Him. Yet- He lives in us. It's a glorious exchange! yes, and amen.
"try"- try out a new method. (merriam-webster.com)
